Need some help? You've come to the right place.

These are some of my tips and cheats for my favorite games.

Animal Crossing

Note: This game is also titled Doubutsu no Mori Plus.

Hint: Mr. Resetti:
Reset the Gamecube during game play. Start the game again and Mr. Resetti will appear to complain. Repeat this to make him more angry.
srhobga f vuxl and hermag.

If you reset the game enough, Mr. Resetti's older brother, Don, will take his place. He tells you that Mr. Resetti is not a bad and is just doing his job. He also apologizes for his brother's temper and language.
CommanderPommy.

If you keep resetting the game many times, eventually Mr. Resetti will come out and rant at you as usual, but then completely black out the screen for several seconds, as if the power was turned off. After it comes back on again, he laughs at you, rants a bit more, then leaves.
AlanB412.

Hint: Mr. Resetti in backround:
On Saturdays at exactly 8:45 p.m., talk to K.K. Slider (located at the train station). Ask him to play a song. It does not matter if you request it or just play it. During the credits, look in the background very closely to see Mr. Resetti.
TmAnRuLeS11 and goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Making Mr.Resetti madder:
Reset the game until Mr .Resetti actually makes you write an apology. Rather than writing what he tells you, type "I hate you". This gets him even more frustrated.
TmAnRuLeS11.

Enter one of these phrases when Mr. Resetti makes you say something instead of what he wants to make him even madder.
Bnefriends.

You suck!
You stink!
I hate you!
No!
Go away!
Shut up
I hate moles!

Hint: Change item screen background:
Get the piece of clothing you want as the background in your inventory. Grab it and drag it to the lower right space. From there, drag it one space down into a blank space, press A, and you will have changed the background.
Steve G..

Hint: View credits:
Talk to the dog next to the train station and type three key symbols.
Pkmo64.

Hint: Easy money:

Talk to Tom Nook and scroll down to "Other Things" when he asks you what he can do for you. Then go to "Say Code" and enter this code:

WB2&pARAcnOwnU
jMCK%hTk8JHyrT

You can only submit it three times a day, but it is worth 30,000 bells each time you use it.
Jeff Yates.

When bees appear from trees, take out your butterfly net and face the beehive. If you can catch a bee, you can sell it for 4,500 Bells.
hermag and bryan.

Place orange furniture to the north, green furniture to the south, yellow furniture to the west, and red furniture to the east part of your house. Note: The orange cone is actually red.
hermag, bryan, and Dee Source.

Note: This trick requires a Game Boy Advance and a link cable. Play the game with the Game Boy Advance attached. Collect as much fruit as possible and travel all the way to the south. Go the pier at the beach. A Kappa will be there and will to bring you to a new island to the south. Get to the new island and drop all of your fruit. Return to the Kappa and leave. Transfer the island to the Game Boy Advance. On the Game Boy Advance, knock on the door to the house of the island animal. After it appears, move a piece of fruit in front of the animal. It will eat it and become happy. Keep repeating this until the animal drops money bags. Feed all your fruit to the animal, then put your Game Boy Advance on standby. Resume the game on the Gamecube. Go back to town, then return and talk to the Kappa again. Your game will now be updated with the Game Boy Advance data. Travel back to the island and collect the money bags.
hermag and bryan.

This trick requires a memory card that has your main file on it that can deposit money at the post office (in other words, you have paid off all of your house to Tom Nook already) and another memory card with at least 3 blocks of data free, and does not have Animal Crossing town data on it. Start the game with your main file memory card in slot A and the memory card with 3 blocks free and no town data in slot B. Put all of the money in your possession in the bank, all of your important items in your house, and the letters that you want to save at the post office. Next, talk to Porter (the monkey) at the train station and say that you are taking a trip. You will get on the train, and eventually you will go back to the main title screen. At the title screen, remove the memory card in slot B. Then, press Start and you will get the "Welcome back, who is this?" message. When you say who you are, the game will say similar to "Oh I thought you were out traveling and seeing the world. I can let you play, but you won't have any items/money with you, is that OK?". You will not lose anything because your money is in the bank and your items are in your house. Answer that it is okay. You will load up your town, and you will not have any bells, items, or letters with you. Your money is in the bank, your items are in your house, and your face is like a Gyroid. This is normal. Go to your post office, and take out all your money. Then, drop it on the ground somewhere. Go talk to your Gryoid and choose to save, then select save and quit. Once you are back at the main title screen, put the memory card that was taken out of slot B back in slot B and press Start. When asked if you want to use the data from slot B the game will prompt something similar to "Hey you already came back from traveling, and now you're coming back again? Do you want me to copy what you did on slot B to Slot A?" Answer yes. Once the game starts, your character will be back to normal, and your bank account will be as if you never took any Bells out of the bank. The money bags that you dropped will be where you left it. You have just doubled all your money.
TMCC.

Go around town with your shovel and hit every rock you can find. One of them should turn red when you hit it. Keep hitting it to get more money.
Alancoren51.

Every New Year your parents give you 10,000 bells. Change the system date on the Gamecube; or in the Animal Crossing options and change the date to the new year. Check the mail box and you will have 10,000 bells from your parents. Repeat the process, but change the year.
Collin Barton.

Dig for fossils every time you play. When the Museum fills up with fossils, you can make a mint at Nook's or trade with residents for good items with fossils. Skulls of dinosaurs seem to be worth the most, usually bringing in 4,000 to 6,000.
BL Campbell.

Get three fossils, then send them to the museum. Then, change the day to one day later. Check your fossils. If they are rare, continue playing. If they are not, reset the game until you get rare fossils. You can either keep them for H.R.A. points, sell them to Nook, or donate them to the museum.
Bill russell.

Play the Stalk Market. Turnips do not seem like that much of a commodity, but its gold in the game. You can make a fortune buying Turnips and selling them at the right price.
BL Campbell.

If you have at least 10,000 Bells, on Sunday Joan the turnip seller will at your town every from 6 a.m. to 12 noon. Buy 100 turnips as many times you can. The next day, go to Nook's store and sell them all. It is possible to get 73,600 Bells just for 100 turnips.
Puppiedog889.

As you know, Joan sells Turnips every Sunday until 12 Noon. Then, you have to wait until Monday to sell. However, the following trick makes things easier. Go to the Animal Crossing web site, scroll to the bottom, then write down the Universal code for 100 turnips. On a Monday through Saturday, check the prices until you see that Tom Nook is buying for at least 700 or more Bells. Use the Universal code and make sure that they actually work in your town (sometimes you will be a "contest loser"). When you sell them, you will definitely have a lot of Bells.
Tiffany.

Note: This trick requires three memory cards, game A, game B, travel data, and a lot of Turnips. Spend the entire week saving up as much Bell as you can on Game A. On Sunday, find Joan and buy as many turnips as you can afford. Save your travel data on slot 2, then travel to Game B. Find out how much Tom is buying Turnips for. If he is not asking enough, save, then set the clock to the next day and ask again. Wait until a day when Tom is buying for over 1000 Bell, but do not set the clock more than a week ahead or the Turnips will spoil. Sell all your Turnips for the profit. Save and take the money back to Game A. Use the money to buy more turnips. Go back and sell them again. Because you are saving the travel data, it does not matter that the days do not match up. You can make over 30,000,000 Bell doing this.
bryan.

Note: This trick requires two memory cards. If you have wasted all your days with your Turnips and they are about to become useless, you can switch towns then keep checking how much the price is. Once it is at a good price, return to your first town, take a trip there, and sell all your Turnips.
YANKEEfan4Ever16.

Try to fish, dig Bells, and work for people until the evening, when you would barely get anything. Go to the Animal Crossing Menu and change the time back to 4:00 when the best fish and bugs appear. It is better if it rains. Then, change to one day ahead to make a lot of money. This is also a good way to pay off the debt to Tom Nook and buy furniture for your house. Make sure that you pull weeds that you see to stop them from growing. Use the shovel to stop weeds from growing from a location permanently. When your ready, put your time and day back. You will always get new mail and offers from Tom Nook. This is another good way to get your home and Tom Nook's shop remodeled. Whatever you did in those days like make the shop larger, and will stay the way it was when you visited the future. You should make about 50,000 Bells in about five hours while in the future.
Mdog2K4.

If you can change the date to a day when its raining, you can catch Coelacanth. Do not waste your time with the little fish such as Red Snappers or Barred Knifejaws. Coelacanth are worth 15,000 Bells each. The times that you can catch Coelacanths are 4 p.m. through 9 a.m. when it is raining in any month. The other big rare fish are too rare and not worth catching to make money. Note: Catching rare fish works better with the Golden Rod.
Apocalypse1789.

Use the following trick to get easy money and a lot of fossils. Find three fossils and mail them to the Museum. On the day that they arrive back in the mail, open them and see what you get, as usual. If the Museum needs it, give it to them. If not, sell it to Nook. Then, go back to your personal Gyroid Assistant and save the game. Reset the Gamecube with the cover open so the system menu appears. Set the date back one day, and start the game again. Check your mail, do whatever you want with the fossils, then save and restart the Gamecube again. Set the date back to the current day and restart the game. Do this until the Museum is full, or you no longer want to continue with the trick. Note: If you reset the game date by using the option the game provides (before you start your game), sometimes your fossils will not be sent to you in the mail and you will not find any for awhile. The game knows when you are cheating this way, and reflects this with less valuable items.
Wolfe Masters.

Take fruit from one town and sell it to Nook at another town. You will get paid five times as much for it. Note: This only works if each town has different fruits.
Randy Johnson.

Get fruit other than the type that naturally grows in your town. Do this by visiting other towns or getting one from a person in your town when you talk to them. Bury them and they will grow into trees that give off three pieces of that fruit every few days. Each is worth 500 Bells. Do not crowd trees in too close. This usually causes them to not grow. You can set the clock forward to grow trees faster and to make the fruit reappear quicker. Fruit trees successfully grow almost all of the time.
rm2kguy.

Take several pieces of fruit and plant them on your island. When they grow into trees, do not shake the fruit off. Instead, let them stay there so that during the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 a.m., you can go to the island and catch beetles that are attracted to the fruit. Since there are only three to five trees for them to crawl on, the odds of a beetle appearing will increase significantly. Each beetle is worth at least 1350 Bells, except the Drone Beetle. You can catch thousands of Bells worth of beetles. However, if you shake the fruit off the trees, the beetles will not appear.
code9000.

Plant a pear tree on the island. Let it grow then return with your net only after 5:30. Make sure it is not raining. Go to the pear tree and look for the Evening Cicada. It is worth 850 Bells. After you catch one, go to another panel and immediately go back. There will be another keep. Catching them until your inventory is full. You can make up to 70,000 Bells in one hour.
3kemufrm.

Get a fishing pole, and on a rainy day, go to the ocean and catch a fish that is worth 15,000 Bells. it takes time to see the big fish, but he will be there. You can also catch an orange fish worth 3,000 Bells, and a Barred Knife Jaws worth 5,000 Bells. If you catch a Sea Bass, throw it back, and keep fishing until you catch the good ones.
Optimus Prime.

Another fish to catch is the Large Char. It is worth 10,000 Bells. You can catch those at the waterfall or at different places for different people. If you see a big shadow in the water, it is a fish worth 10,000 to 15,000 Bells.
pat galpin.

Go down to the shore and start fishing. If you catch a Sea Bass, throw it back because it is worthless. If you catch the really big fish that sells for 15,000 Bells, give it to the Museum. This will increase the chances of you catching it again.
hints4u.

This trick requires a Game Boy Advance. Link your Game Boy Advance into the Gamecube and go to the island with only a fishing rod. Go there only to fish, and only keep Red Snappers, Knifejaws, and Coelacanths. Throw back all Sea Bass and put all the Boots you get in the beach house. It is possible to make 100,000 Bells in one hour.
Alex G.

Shake every tree that you can to get its items. If a bees nest falls out, take out your bug net. You can catch a single bee for 4,500 Bells
hints4u.

Try to get stung by a bee, then move around and shake some trees.100 Bells will fall out of almost every tree you shake. Repeat this method until you get the desired amount of Bells.
Conkersday.

Play the game after it is dark and go to the waterfall. There will be a fish called a Large Char which sells for 10,000 Bells each. They are common to catch, and you can make about 100,000 Bells in about five hours.
DarthVaderTiex1.

If you look on your map, you will see a flashing, golden spot somewhere. If you can find the location, dig there to receive 1,000 Bells. If you do not dig there every day, the spot will disappear. Eventually, the spot will become a hole. Plant a money bag and eventually a Money Tree will grow from the golden spot. If you plant a shovel at the golden spot, eventually a Golden Shovel Tree will grow. The Golden Shovel Tree is the only way to acquire the Golden Shovel, which can be used (dig with it at the golden spot to receive more than 1,000 bells) or sold.
Vfirthd and Sheri Zellers.

If you look around your town in every acre, you will eventually find a flashing golden spot in the ground. If you find the location, dig there to receive 1,000 Bells. If you have saved over 99,999 Bells in your town, you will get a separate bag filled with 30,000 bells so you can keep saving up to 99,999 Bells. Each time you get up to 99,999 Bells, you will get a separate bag of 30,000 bells which lowers your cash to about 70,000 Bells. Do not worry -- even when it shows the separate bag(s) your items screen states you only have 70,000 Bells, whenever you go back to Tom Nook's shop your money will be the 30,000 Bell bag(s) plus what the game says you have saved in your items screen. Now, instead of burying the 1,000 Bells, bury the 30,000 Bells. When the tree grows, there will be a total of three 30,000 Bell bags in it. Shake that tree. This will add to your total bells in the items screen. Note: If you save too much Bells, your item screen will fill up with the 30,000 Bell bags. You may want to store some of the bags inside your house. If you do not have 99,999 Bells saved, you can go to your items screen, put the hand to the money, and click it. Select 10,000, 1,000, or 100 bells and you can bury those also.
Mike Kaye.

Find a rock that turns red when you hit it. Dig two holes in a "V" shape. Have the bottom point on the "V" as the rock and the two other points at the holes that you dig. The holes keep you from moving backwards from the recoil. You can hit the rock as fast as possible. It is possible to get about 13,000 Bells per day by doing this.
TMCC.

If you get your item screen with three pears, sell it to Tom Nook. He will give you 100 Bells for each one. With a total of 15, that is 1,500 Bells.
Anikn12k.

Collect all of the seashells on your shore and sell them. After that, save and quit the game. Reload your game and go by the sea shore. All of the seashells will be there again. You can make 30,000 bells in about an hour.
ben sott.

Set the clock to December 24 at 8:00 p.m. and make sure you have ten outfits (including what you are wearing). Find and talk to Jingle five times. On the fifth time, he will give you a present based on what your three answers were (foldable things are clothes, woven things is carpet, printed things is wallpaper, and big things is furniture). Immediately change clothes and talk to him again. Every time you change, he will give you a present. You can get up to ten presents that sell for 12,240 Bells each. Then, set the clock back to 7:59 p.m. and repeat the process. You can make up to 500,000 Bells in two hours.
Saposaur64.

Set the date and time to Thanksgiving at 3 p.m. and steal the silverware. Talk to a villager that did not go to the feast until they tell you a hint to Franklin's location. Give him the silverware to get a piece of the harvest series. Repeat until you have the whole set, including wallpaper and carpet, then sell the set to Tom Nook. You can get over 500,000 Bells by doing this. Store money bags in your house or bury it.
lin pennington.

Get up early and start fishing near the Post Office. In about an hour or less, you will catch a fish that sells for 10,000 Bells in fresh water. Give it to the museum. The fish is now very common and you can pay off any debt to Tom Nook in a matter of weeks.
Michael B.

When on the beach, take only Coral and White Scallops. Then, go to Tom Nook's shop and sell them to him. He will buy 1 Coral for 300 Bells, and 1 White Scallop for 450 Bells.
TankSelvaggio.

When you dig up a fossil, mail it to the museum. When you get the bones, sell them and do not give them to the museum. You should get at least 700 Bells for it.
Japanime6651.

Go to the coast with an empty inventory except for perhaps a fishing pole to catch fish. Go shell hunting get every shell on the beach, then sell them at Nooks to get a lot of Bells.
TheMatrix712.

On days when the fortune teller, Katrina, is in town, if you dig up money in a shining spot, it will be 30,000 Bells.
Rmaster801.

Start playing and find the Red Rock (the rock that turns red when you hit it with your shovel for money). If you dig two holes behind you, you will not get knocked back too far and you can get up to 13,300 Bells. After that, go back to your house and talk to your Gyroid. Tell it that you want to save the game. When the person from your town asks what you want to do, tell them to save and continue instead of save and quit. Once you walk back out of your house, press reset on the Gamecube. When you resume the game you will see Mr. Resetti, but can get your Red Rock again. You can do this as many times as desired.
Parshath062.

When you are playing, save, and quit. This will bring you back to the title screen. When the animal asks you who you are, say, "I'm new". A new game will start in the same town. Note: You can save up to four people in the same town. This is what the four houses are for. When you get to the town and finish your part-time job with Nook, get some money and items. Place them in front of the first person's house. When you play as the first person, you can pick up those things. Use this trick to get lots of money. Do not bother paying back Nook for your house on the other files, just on the first.
Legomaniac1000.

Save and quit the game. Then, set the system date to January 1, 2001. When you start playing the game again, you will have mail. Read it, and there will be a present attached to the mail. Open the present for 10,000 Bells. Note: Keep switching the years around and you will still get the money. This is useful when paying off your debt to Tom Nook. Note: If you keep doing this, your town will get full of weeds.
Jeffreysxfs.

Talk to Sven when you have a Crawfish or Barbel Steed. He will tell a story about his uncle and will ask 1,900 to 3,000 Bells for it. You can make as much as fifteen Red Snappers with Crawfish or Barbel Steeds, which sell for a lot less.
TankSelvaggio.

Use the Universal Code to get a Snowman Clock that sells for 8,888 Bells from Tom Nook. Get it three times everyday to be able to completely pay off all your house extensions in two weeks.
Jessica O'Brien.

Set the system date to June 27 at midnight. All bugs will be out at this time. Catch everything you can find. Because Nook's store is not open, put all bugs you caught in your house. In the morning, sell all the bugs to Nook. It is possible to make 50,000,000 Bells in four hours.
CCERAMIC37.

Hint: Gyroid sale:
Do not dig up anything for a few weeks. After about a month, dig up everything in your town. Keep the Gyroids. Send in the fossils. Buy a lot of paper. Send a letter to everyone in the town and invite them to your house in one week. You may also send a small present. Also write a note on the bulletin board. If someone writes one over it, write another. You should now have a lot of Gyroids. You may need to store some of your furniture by burying it. Arrange all the Gyroids so that you can get next to each one. On the day of the sale, nobody will come. If you have another file they can come. You will not get much money. However the HRA will like it. You can keep it like that or sell them all. The point of sending the letters with presents is so that you can get things back. After you sell them all, you probably will have gotten 20,000 to 30,000 Bells and some new furniture.
carson graham.

Hint: Duplicate money and items:
This trick requires two Game Boy Advances and a link cable. Connect Game Boy Advance #1 to the Gamecube using your link cable and turn it on. Go to your island (located on the dock at the edge of the ocean). When you finally get to the island, drop off the item or money that you wish to duplicate. Leave the island. When Kapp'n asks if you want to save your island to your Game Boy Advance, select "Yes". After it is done downloading to your Game Boy Advance, you can put it in sleep mode, disconnect it, and set it aside. When you get back to your town, attach Game Boy Advance #2 and turn it on. Leave that screen then immediately return to it. Talk to Kapp'n to go back to your island. After you start leaving you can turn Game Boy Advance #2 off. When you get to your island, pick up the item that you left there then leave the island again. This time when Kapp'n asks you to save your island to your Game Boy Advance, answer "No". When you get back to your town, disconnect Game Boy Advance #2 and connect Game Boy Advance #1 (make sure it is not in sleep mode). Leave the screen and return. Talk to Kapp'n once more. Your island should upload from your Game Boy Advance. When you get to your island, your item will be there again and you will already have it in your pockets. Pick up your item from the ground. You now have two of them. This will also work with multiple items.
SeRF2u.

This trick requires only one Game Boy Advance and a link cable. Connect the Game Boy Advance to the Gamecube using your link cable and turn it on. Go to your island (located on the dock at the edge of the ocean). When you finally get to the island, drop off the item or money that you wish to duplicate. Leave the island. When Kapp'n asks if you want to save your island to your Game Boy Advance, select "Yes". After it is done downloading, do not press anything on the Game Boy Advance. When you get back to your town, leave that screen, then immediately return to it. Talk to Kapp'n to go back to your island. He will ask what happened to the island in your Game Boy Advance. Chose to go to a different island. When you get to your island, pick up the item that you left there, then leave the island again. This time when Kapp'n asks you to save your island to your Game Boy Advance, answer "No". When you get back to your town press A on your Game Boy Advance. Leave the screen and return. Talk to Kapp'n once more. Your island should upload from your Game Boy Advance. When you get to your island, your item will be there again and you will already have it in your pockets. Pick up your item from the ground. You now have two of them. This will also work with multiple items.
Jeff Bates.

This trick requires two memory cards; one for travel data and your town data. If you have ever sent anything except Fossils into the Museum, you know that they will get sent back to you in the mail. You can use this to your advantage. Get three letters and write to the Museum. It does not matter what you write. Take the items that you want duplicated and send them to the Museum. Them, take a trip. The game will save your town and travel data, then send you back to the title screen. At this point, take out the memory card then you press Start. Choose "Before I Go" and change the date back one day, just to make sure you get your mail that you sent out. Then, choose your name. The message "Oh I thought you were traveling" will appear, and you will be asked if you want to use the data that you left behind. Answer "Yes", then go to your mailbox. Take out the items that you sent out. For example, if you sent out three apples, take them out. Then, drop them on the ground somewhere. Save and quit the game. Put your travel data memory card back in the Gamecube, then start. The message "Oh I thought you came back already" will appear. Answer that you want to copy over the town data, then press Start If done correctly, your mailbox will be blinking. You will have received the three apples back in the mail and still will have the ones on the ground.
Ryan Kingsbury.

This trick requires two Game Boy Advances and a link cable. Connect the first Game Boy Advance and go to the dock. Talk to Kapp'n and go to the island. Once there, drop off the item(s) to be duplicated. Go into another acre. Return to Kapp'n and talk to him. Say that you want to keep a saved file of the island on the first Game Boy Advance. When it loads, you can go home. Once back at the mainland, leave the acre and connect the second Game Boy Advance. Go back to Kapp'n and sail to the island. Pick up the item(s) to be duplicated and return to the mainland. Do not keep a saved file of the island on the second Game Boy Advance. Once again, leave the acre and connect the first Game Boy Advance. Go back to Kapp'n and go to the island. The island will load as the one saved on the first Game Boy Advance before you arrived and picked up the items. They will still be there, but they will also be with you. Thus you can duplicate items. Note: You can also duplicate money by making it into a money bag. Note: It is recommended that you drop the items in your house. If you drop them outside, you have a 50 percent chance that your island NPC will pick the items up.
Areku Kasutoru.

Hint: Triplicate items:
This trick requires two memory cards that both have town data on them. To do this, load the town from memory card A and then put the item you want to triplicate into your pocket. Travel to the town on memory card B. Put the item into the dump. Go back to town A then save and quit. Load town B and pick up the item. Take it to Tom Nook's store. Talk to him and choose "Other Things." Select "Hear Code" and make a note of Town A's name and your player in Town A. Give Tom the item and he will give you a code. Make a note of that code down, then save the game. Load town A and go to Tom Nook's store. Say the code to him and he will give you the item. Say the code again. He will give you the item again. Do this a third time You will have just triplicated your item. One item can be triplicated everyday.
Chris.

Hint: No room for money:
If you find money and have no room, try picking it up and select "Swap". Then, put it in you wallet instead.
PakMail.

Hint: No more garbage:
Use the following trick if you are frustrated by digging or fishing and receiving garbage. It only requires you to have 1,500 Bells. Fill all your pockets with bags of Bells (each bag containing 100 Bells, more if desired). When your pockets are full, garbage will not appear. When you dig up something or catch a fish, the game will say that your pockets are full and ask you if you want to swap the item. Select "Swap" and place the item in your pocket (trading it for the bag of Bells). Then, drag the bag of bells you are holding to your wallet. You will never be bothered by garbage again.
ClarkandJayne.

Hint: More room for items:
If your pockets are too full to carry any more items, attach extra items to your mail and retrieve them later when you have gotten rid of some other items. This allows you to carry up to ten additional items and is especially helpful when gathering and selling fruit from other towns.
leenmeanPOKeQuyn.

If you have any items that are rare, hard to find, or that you do not want to sell, but do not have space for them, you can use the following trick to save them. Wait (or set the system date) until a major event (for example, New Year's Eve countdown, morning aerobics, April Fool's Day, etc.) is about to start. Take all the items you want to save and drop them anywhere in the acre that the event is scheduled to occur at. Leave that acre until after the event has started, then return. Your items will be missing. Go to the Police Station. All of your items will be in the Lost and Found. Note: This trick only works if the Lost and Found has enough room to store your items (it can hold twenty). If there is not enough room, the items that do not fit will be thrown away.
yamahafreak.

Hint: Easy items:
One of the best ways to get new items that you cannot buy is to do work for the residents, and do it often. Do their little chores and they will (more often than not) reward you with things that are hard to come by in Nook's store.
BL Campbell.

At the beginning of the game, at some point when you are working for Tim Nook he will allow you to do errands for the other townsfolk. At any other part of the game, you will have to wait a good while between errands for the same person. However, during this time you can do several errands in a row for the same person, allowing you to get some great items quickly.
Jin Yokimo.

Talk to people whenever you are near them. Sometimes they will ask you if you want to take a table or some clothes or other things off their hands. Also, do errands for people often. If there are no errands available you will only have to wait ten minutes.
Saposaur64.

Check the town bulletin board often. Check with Officer Cooper frequently to see when Wendel, Redd, or anyone else is in town.
Optimus Prime.

Go to the dump on garbage day. There will be items there that you can take.
BLAKE7502.

If you go to the Police Department, there will sometimes be lost items that you can take.
BLAKE7502.

Use the following trick to get an easy completed series. Set the date to Thanksgiving. Steal the silverware and find Franlin. Repeat this until you have all the Harvest furniture. You may also continue and sell some extras for cash.
Bnefriends.

On days when its not raining, go to the shoreline and walk across the whole beach. You will find a bird laying on the beach. He will look dead, but you can still talk to him. Talk to him until he gets up and he will tell you about his trip. After he tells you about the trip, he will give you a rare item. Note: This happens every three days.
ptolley.

On October 16th, when the color of the ground changes from green to a brownish color, talk to all the villagers in your town. Some of them might say that they cleaned their rooms out, and ask you if you want an item, such as a painting, desk, G logo, etc. Say "Yes", and repeat the same for the other villagers. You will soon have some worthy items that you can either sell or put in your home.
Shadow.

Hint: Quick item:
To get something you ordered the day that you ordered it, save, continue, then reset the game. After you talk to Mr. Resetti, your items will be in the mail.
Butthole Surfer.

This trick requires two memory cards with saved game data on each one. If you ordered something through mail order at Tom Nook's store and want to get it immediately, travel to the other town on the other memory card then immediately travel back. The item you ordered should be in your mailbox.
bakuchan451.

Hint: Items on the ground:
If you leave items on the ground for a long period of time, they might disappear and end up at the Police Station. If you want to save items and you do not have room in your house, bury the items in the ground for safe keeping.
Chris Chung.

Hint: Give items to the Wishing Well that you need to deliver:
You normally cannott give the Wishing Well in your town items that you need to deliver to an animal (usually in another town) on the day you receive the item that is needed to be delivered. In this case, wait about three to four days and the Wishing Well should accept it.
Sean Chappell.

Hint: Get mail quicker:
Speak to your Gyroid, save, and quit. Let the game play through the opening title screen again. When you get back to your house, the item will be in your mail.
AJtheDevil.

There is a way to get your mail very fast when you order something or send a fossil. Order or send what you want, go to your Gyroid, choose to save and quit, then press the reset button after the game saves.
debegraz.

Hint: Getting NES games:
Talk to the townspeople until they ask you when your birthday is. Most of them will say something similar to "How would you like a train set for your birthday?" Answer "Yes" and you will put in your birthday. On your birthday, one of the townsfolk will be outside your house. He or she will present you with a NES. For example, Virgos will get Donkey Kong.
Saposaur64.

Hint: Easy Gyroids:
Three memory cards are required for this trick. One memory card needs to have your saved game in it. This will be card A. Use a second memory card for traveling data, as card B in slot B. When you travel to the new town you have to create, you will use this card. Note: This card will always remain in slot B. Put your third memory card (card C) in slot A, then create a new game and after your able to save, save the game. Then, put card A into slot A and start the game. Go to your Gyroid assistant then save and continue. Next, go to the train station and talk to Porter and say you want to take a trip. Wait until the title screen appears, then put card C into slot A and start playing. You will be in your saved game with your card A character. Then, look for all the treasures. There are eight total; three Gyroids and other items.
Steven Paul.

To get Gyroids very easily, get the Golden Shovel and find a hole in the ground (they resemble "X"s). Dig there for a 50% chance of getting a Gyroid.
Rachel Knowles.

If you dig up a Fossil and you wanted a Gyroid, bury the Fossil in the same place you found it and leave it there. Then, wait a few days or set the time ahead. Go to where you buried the Fossil and dig it up. It should have turned into a Gyroid.
Toocooldude0121.

Hint: Gyroid rhythm:
Put together these Gyroids for an intesting rhythm: Use a Rythmoid, Mini, Mega and Regular Gongloids, and the Mini Bowtoid.
tyler conner.

Hint: Gyroid face:
If you want your character to have no facial expressions, for example, a face like the Gyroid next to your house, put all your money/items in your house. Travel to another town and once you get there, reset. Note: If you did not deposit your money or items in your house before doing this, you will lose them. When you reload the game, you will get a message that says "You were traveling. All money and items will be lost. Do you want to go to town anyway?" Answer "Sure!". When you reload, your character will have the face like a Gyroid. To change the face back, save your game and reload it.
Danielle.

This trick requires two memory cards. Create a person on both cards. Then, visit the other town. Allow the monkey to save, then turn off the Gamecube. Then, play again as the same person. The animal will warn you that you are on a trip and have nothing with you. Ignore them and continue. If you look at the person, you will see that they have no eyes or mouth and their face has pink spots. To restore your character, simply go back to the town you visited and return.
ima_dogg.

Hint: Snowman:
When it is snowing, close to the end of January find two snow balls. Roll one to make a giant snow ball and the other to make a smaller snowball. Then, roll the smaller onto the big one to make a talking snowman.
NealG6.

Hint: Free flowers:
At the start of the game when Nook tells you to work part time for him, one of the jobs will be to plant flowers around his shop. When he gives you the flowers, you can plant them anywhere in the city. Note: You can also plant them around your house.
HyprBlader.

When you start working for Tom Nook to pay off your house, his first job for you will be to plant flowers around his shop. When he gives you the flowers, go back to your house and drop everything he gave you, so that no flowers are in your item pack. Then, run back and he will give you 80 Bells. He will pay you and you will get the free items.
Pikachu292.

Hint: Indian Song (Gyroids):
Get a Tall Echoid, Tall Percoloid, Tall Strumboid, Mini Plinkoid, and a Mega Sproid.
Kristianne1993.

Hint: Growing a money tree:
First, find a glowing piece of earth. Dig it up and you get a money bag. Plant the money bag in the glowing hole and a seedling will sprout, which will grow in to a money tree.
Christal Liebenthal.

For a super money try, get 30,000 Bells. Find a glowing spot and enter the item screen. Get the cursor and click on your amount of Bells. Choose 30,000, take it out, and plant it in the glowing spot. In a couple days it will be full grown and have three bags of 30,000 Bells.
Cloud19999.

When you dig up the glowing ring for your daily 1000 Bells, put in 100 Bells then bury it. You will then get a money tree.
Rayanna.

Hint: Golden Axe:
Get your town rating to be "Perfect" for two entire weeks. The Golden Axe is indestructible.
bryan.

Hint: Golden Net:
Catch all 40 types of bugs. Note: You will also get a metal butterfly for the side of your house.
michael and goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Golden Rod:
Catch all 40 types of fish. Note: You will also get a weathervane for your house.
michael and goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Golden Shovel:
First, buy two shovels. Find a piece of glowing earth and dig it up. Then, plant a shovel in the glowing earth.
Christal Liebenthal.

Carry the Golden Shovel around with you at all times. There is a 25% chance you will dig up Bells at location in your town when you dig a hole. It is also indestructible.
joebobcool39.

Hint: Statues:
When you upgrade to a two story house and pay off all your debt (798,000 Bells), Tom Nook will make a Golden Statue of you in front of the Train Station. It is very shiny, even in the winter.
SweetAnge1Kisses.

Note: The second player to pay off their debts in that game will have a Silver Statue. The third player to do so will get a Bronze Statue. The fourth player will get a green statue.
TmAnRuLeS11 and Vance Doyle.

Hint: Balloons:
On some days, you will see a balloon floating in the air with a present tied to it. Follow it until it gets stuck in a tree. If this happens, shake the tree to pop the balloon and the present will fall to the ground. Then, pick up the present. Note: Most of the time it is furniture
SorrowedMemories.

Note: A balloon with a present tied to it will not get caught in a tree with fruit in its branches.
Daniel Bandor.

Balloons show up unexpectedly, and mostly anywhere. However there are set days of the week and times they will show up. To catch any balloon, you need to learn where they show up, on what day, and at what time. Observe these patterns and plant a couple of trees in the routes where they move. The next time they appear, chase them until they knock into a tree and get stuck. Shake the tree and the present will drop to the ground. You can then pick it up and claim your prize (furniture). One area that a floating present appears is by the train station from about 7:00 to 9:00 on a Friday night. Make sure that some trees are planted coordinated to the south of the train station until the first cliff edge. Avoid talking to K.K. when you see the balloon.
alicja rzeznik.

Hint: Fossils:
Make sure you do not send more then three fossils to the Museum for identification. They will only identify the first three and you will have lost the fourth. Save that fossil for another day.
joebobcool39.

If you do not have any stationary, you cannot dig up fossils. If you do not like to spend money buying stationary to send in fossils, sell your stationary. You will never get a fossil again.
Russell Cavallaro.

Send a letter to the Museum without anything in it. They will return the letter with a fossil.
christy roberson.

When you send fossil to the Museum, you can send as much as you have space for in your mail box. You get three each day, but this does not mean that the other fossils are gone. After the first mail day, and the second mail day comes around, you will have three more fossils in the mail. If your house is filled with fossils, send them to the museum and you will get three every day.
Robert.

Hint: Grab Bags:
One November 28 Tom Nook has Brag Bags. They cost 2,003 Bells. They always contain a pinwheel, and may have furniture, flooring, clothing, or walls. The bags, however, take the place of flowers, trees, paper, and items such as bug nets and shovels.
Iain.

Hint: Paper:
When you first start a character, Nook will give you jobs to do for him before you can save the game. One of these jobs is to write a letter to one of the villagers. Nook will give you one piece of paper. Leave his shop then re-enter. Ask him for more paper. Continue to do this until you receive the desired amount of stationary.
Wolfe Masters.

Hint: Talk to Mail Bird:
If you send letters and fill up all the places in the Post Office, leave quickly and you may can catch the Mail Bird before he takes off to deliver the letters. If you miss him, wait for a bit and you may be able to catch him stopping at your house and delivering letters to you or anyone else who may have occupied one of the four free houses.
joebobcool39.

Wait by the message board at 9 a.m. or 5 p.m. and Pete the mailman will fly by and tell you a little about his social life.
goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Fishing:
If you are not catching the fish you want to catch, move to another section of the map and fish there. Some fish are only found in certain areas.
BL Campbell.

When fishing, do not actually reel in the fish (press A) until you see the bobber go under the water.
BL Campbell.

Fish at the ocean in the rain. You have a much greater chance of catching the Coelacanth. They sell for 15,000 Bells a fish. Also, you have a greater chance of catching the Barred Knifejaw and Red Snapper. They sell for 5,000 Bells and 3,000 Bells respectively. Generally, fishing in the rain is much easier, but in the ocean, for easy money. Also, its easier to fish at night.
BL Campbell.

When it is raining, you have better chance of catching a fish worth 15,000 Bells.
DAVID BARNHART.

When you go fishing and a fish bites at the bait, it only bites five times. If it nips at it four times, press A on the fifth time automatically. Five times is always the maximum number of times they bite.
James Vinson.

When you fish anywhere, there is a good chance that you will get a fish that is worthless. If you throw it back in, it will disappear. If you leave and fish somewhere else in the same area, it will pop up again. Most likely, you will catch it repeatedly.
GoALiEGiRL4eva11.

To find a fish in a certain area, go to the designated acre. Walk to the side of the acre. Then, walk back and forth, switching acres. Do this about three to five times and a fish should appear in the acre you end up standing in.
James92326.

When fishing, certain fish appear as the seasons change. If it is Winter, look for the Stringfish in the river by the train track, which is worth 15,000 Bells. In the summer, look for the Red Snapper or Barred Knife Jaw. If you locate a rare fish such as the ones mentioned, donate them to the local museum. Anything that is put in the museum becomes less rare and likely to be found. Note: Do Not donate a fish that you do not like or wish to catch.
dan.

All fish will nibble a maximum of four times, then it will pull hard. If it nibbles four times, the next one is a definite strike. Note: Fish may also nibble less than four times -- do not let your guard down.
F22Rapter2468.

When you are fishing, make sure people are around you. If you catch a Red Snapper, Barred Knifejaw, Large Bass, etc., it will raise the value of the fish.
EVANESENSE999.

Hint: Winning the Fishing Tourney:
Catch a Bass as early as possible on one of the Fishing Tourney days. Bring it to Chip. If it is the largest so far, pause game play and allow it to idle until the Fishing Tourney is over.

You do not have to catch the fish you submit into the tourney on Sunday. You can catch them all week. Keep them in your house until Sunday, submit them to Chip.
Brad Fitzsimmons.

Hint: Trading fish with friends:
To easily trade fish with a friend, put the desired fish on your Gyroid and set it to give away. Then, have a friend travel to your town and pick it up.
big bizzle.

Hint: Favorite fish:
Every villager likes a certain type of fish and will trade you items, ask you to give it to them, or buy it from you. Tank's favorite is the Koi.
KWylde.

Hint: Arawona fish:
The Arawona fish is worth 10,000 Bells if sold at Nook's Shop. To find it, set the date and time to 5:00 P.M. on July 1. Fish around Hambo's house. Sooner or later, you will find an Arawana fish. Their shadows are about as large as a Barbel Steed's.
RKB22NOW.

Hint: Piranha:
Once you have donated the Piranha to the museum, go to the tank that contains it. Get as close as possible to the glass. The Piranha will bump into the glass, trying to get you.
GRIZZLYBEAR1223.

Hint: Snakehead fish:
Go fishing at night on a clear day in the Summer at the giant pond. There is a very good chance you will see a giant shadow. This shadow is almost as big as the Coelacanth. It will be the giant Snakehead.
TmAnRuLeS11.

Hint: Stringfish:
The Stringfish is worth 15,000 Bells when sold to Nook.
Ryan Kidd.

The best time and place to catch the Stringfish is where the river first commences (by the train tracks) around 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. from December to February. Keep switching screens back and forth until you find to a huge shadow (about the size of a Coelacanth) then cast your line out. If you do not get it, keep trying by scaring away the smaller fish until you find it again. You can earn 45,000 Bells in just under an hour.
KWylde.

Hint: Furniture:
On different days, you can find a bird washed up on shore, unconscious on the beach. Talk to him and he will give you a piece of furniture you can find anywhere.
Mdog2K4.

On the fourth Thursday in November, at 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tortimer invites a turkey to town to be the main course. The turkey appears, and he will ask you to steal a pair of knives and forks. You must go to the wishing well and steal the pair of cutlery. You must give them back to him, and the villagers who are not at the feast will give you hints as to where he is located. For example, if they say "I saw this strange guy in Acre C, you'd better go check it out", search every acre in the row of Acre C. You can steal the knife and fork as many times as desired, and get as much Harvest Series Furniture as needed.
WhiteAngelGuy13.

The best way to get full sets of furniture is to make sure all your debts are paid off then make sure you always have 10,000 Bells available at all times. Every day, go to Nook's and buy all the furniture you do not have. Then, sell it all back for a lower price. You may get down to about 6,000 Bells. Go fishing until you get to 10,000 Bells again. If you get more, deposit it in the bank (being the Post Office) then do the same thing the next day. Later, after you have done this frequently, look at your catalog and see what you have unlocked. Then, start ordering sets to increase your HRA rating.
joebobcool39.

Every day on your city, there is at least one piece of furniture hidden in a tree. It is usually always in a tree that is never shaken that often, in a corner, or in a place where it is a burden to walk there. When you shake trees, you have a chance to find all of four things: furniture (20%), 100 Bells (30%), bees (40%) and nothing (10%).
joebobcool39.

When there is snow on the ground, preferably in December, find a snowball roll it up very big. Then, go around and find another snowball. Roll it up slightly smaller than the first one. If you done correctly, the snowman will give you some furniture.

Use the following trick to get rare furniture. It is very time consuming and requires two memory cards, one with your town data and another that you can put a new town on. Go to any trading message board and see what people are trading. If you see something that you really want, create a town and character with exactly the same as the person receiving the good item. Once you do your chores for Tom Nook, tell him the code from earlier. You can send this item over to your main town using the password option. Now that you have the desired item in your possession, you can delete your second town if desired. Also, when you send it to yourself, you can keep telling Nook the code repeatedly, and you will keep getting the item (up to three, then you must save and quit to get any more). This also works with any other trading codes.

Use the following trick for an easy way to collect more furniture for your catalog. During the winter, various animals play games with you in the Igloo. One of the animals in your town (for example, Savannah) will play a chance game that involves her having five pieces of furniture. She will list one at a time and make you buy the fifth item if you did not like the previous four (which she could price at a few hundred Bells or a few thousand). Keep going in and out, buying whatever furniture you need to collect. When you have less than 2000 Bells available, she plays a different game with you. She will then offer to buy the furniture that is in your inventory (the furniture that you just bought from her). She will have four cards for you to pick from:

One card will be worth a lot of Bells (2,000 to 4,000)
One card will be 1,000 to 2,000 (the cost to purchase it from Tom Nook)
One card will be whatever Tom Nook would pay if you sold it
One card will be only 10 Bells and a random item (because she feels bad)

The worse card would be receiving only what Tom Nook would pay for it. The 10 Bell card comes with an item, so you can resell it to Savannah (or whomever) again. For the most part, you will get your Bells back and can buy more furniture from her. She always sells furniture for under 2,000 Bells; when she offers an expensive or rare piece, you get a better deal than buying it from Tom Nook. It appears that she charges 75% of all the money you have in your wallet if you pick the fifth piece of furniture (at worse, or it could only be 300 Bells). Try not to gamble on the fifth piece of furniture until you are around 3,000 Bells. Go fishing to earn more Bells to buy furniture from her. However, generally selling back the furniture lasts a long time. The only annoying thing about this process is talking to her repeatedly (they do not get mad about this in the Igloo) until she offers the game. You can obtain almost all of the furniture available in the game this way (except for Redd, special event items, etc.). Also, you can only get the Igloo Model, Snowboard, Chowder, Snow Bunny, Snowy Tree Model, Fireplace, Crab Stew and Sleigh from playing these Igloo games. For other seasons, you may only get the Campfire, Bonfire, Kayak, Backpack, Tent Model, Cooler, Mountain Bike, and Propane Stove in the Tents.
Liana de Luna.

Every December 24, from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., a reindeer named Jingle will appear and give gifts to the animals. Find him walking around your town four times and he will give you some kind of Jingle furniture. He only gives one item per year.
KirakiraNeko.

Use the following trick to get a variety of furniture: Go to tom Nook's and check your catalog. Order a lot of cheap furniture (for example, orange box, green econo chair, etc.), then save and quit the game. Resume the game and all of the furniture you ordered will be in your mailbox. Next, use a Game Boy Advance link cable. Travel to your tropical island with all of the furniture, a Golden Shovel, and lots of fruit. When you get there, bury all the furniture, drop all the fruit on the ground, and drop your Golden Shovel on the ground. Return to your town and save the island to your Game Boy Advance. On your Game Boy Advance, pick up a piece of fruit and drop it near your islander so that he eats it. Repeat the process until he is very happy. The game indicates this by speeding up the music, him throwing money on the ground, and giving him a happy face. Then, pick up the Golden Shovel (it looks like a blue basket) and drop it near him. Once he has it in his hands, go to every digging spot and tell him to dig there. He will keep the furniture he digs up and replace it with something else. If he is happy enough, it will be something better than before. If he ever stops being happy, give him more fruit. Once finished, tell him to drop the shovel, put the Game Boy Advance on standby, return to the island, and dig up all the furniture. Also grab your Golden Shovel if desired. Repeat the process as needed. You should have lots of different furniture. You can keep it or sell it for a sizable profit.
Joshua Whiting.

Hint: Ant:
Leave a piece of candy sitting on the ground outside your house for a while. There will be ants crawling on the candy when you return, unless it is raining. Leave the candy on the ground and you can walk back and forth in and out of the screen. When you return, there will be more ants every time. You can scoop up an ant and donate it to the Museum or sell it at Nook's shop for 80 Bells each. Although this is not a lot, you can catch a lot of ants quickly, and they can add up.
Moonrue74.

Buy some turnips and let them spoil. You can do this by keeping them in your pocket for awhile or waiting for the week to end. Then, take them to the dump and leave them. Leave the screen, then return. There will be ants on them or a roach that you can catch and put in the museum. Do not sell the roach, as Nook will only give you 5 Bells for it.
dominick cronenberg.

Hint: Bag Worm:
If you shake all the trees, you may find a bug that hangs down like a cocoon. Catch and donate it to the Museum. The bug is called a bag worm. It is fairly rare and hard to find. You will probably be stung trying this. When the bees chase you, turn in the opposite direction of them when they are approaching. When they get close, snap down your net and they will swing around you and go into the net. They are worth 4,500 Bells each.
joebobcool39.

Hint: Dragonfly:
Once you have donated a dragonfly to the Museum, go to the insect section of the Museum. Remain still by the dragonfly. It should land on your head. Stay still, or it will fly away. This may also work with a dragonfly outside.
Mewtwofav and Chris Dickson.

Hint: Gyroid:
Locate a hole where you normally find fossils. Instead of a fossil, sometimes you will get a Gyroid.
BLAKE7502.

Hint: Ladybug:
When you plant more that five flowers around your house, Ladybugs will appear and sit on them in the spring.
SweetAnge1Kisses.

Hint: Locust:
If you are having trouble catching locusts, sneak up behind it. Sell it at Nook's place for 1,250 Bells.
BLAKE7502.

Hint: Mole Cricket:
While you are walking, you may hear an odd buzzing sound. Dig immediately at that instant to have about a 50% chance of digging up the Mole Cricket. Donate it to Bathers at the local Museum. There is also a chance that this is a false alarm, in which chase you may dig up 100 Bells instead.
joebobcool39.

Every now and then when you walk around, you will hear a low pitched buzzing but will not be able to locate an insect. This is a Mole Cricket, which is buried somewhere in the acre. You need to dig all over the place to find it. Often, this can take a lot of work. However, if a villager is in the acre, sometimes they can help. Villagers will often stare at insects or fish when they are close to them. If you hear the buzzing and see a villager staring at a certain spot, dig there and you will find the Mole Cricket.
PureMarioExtract.

Usually a neighbor will chase insects or stare at fishes. Sometimes they will stare at the ground. Dig where they are looking and the Mole Cricket will pop out. This technique also works with the Pill Bug when they stare at a rock.
Sue Aizzier.

Hint: Pillbug:
Sometimes when you hit a rock with your shovel, a little black dot will pop out. The dot is a Pillbug, which can be sold at Nook's for 250 Bells. You will have to change from your shovel to your net to catch it. However, it will be easy to catch because it does not run away.
NKzodiac.

Hint: Roach:
If you do not play the game in a week or two, roaches will start appearing in your house.
GreggDMan.

The only way to get rid of them is to repeatedly move your furniture to get the roaches to come out, then squash them until no more appear.
Ganon72.

Hint: Whisp:
Every night between 12 and 4, there is a ghost somewhere in town. You cannot see him until you will step where he is standing. He will ask you to catch five ghouls for him before 4 o'clock. If you do so, you can get a prize, roof painting, or he will remove all the weeds in your town.
ANAC0NDA34.

Hint: Pitfall:
This item is used to trick your friends that also live in your village. To use it, dig a hole with a shovel, and then bury the Pitfall. Whenever your friend moves around in the village and runs over it, they will fall in the hole. However, if your friend sees that there is an item there, they can also dig it up and use the same trick on you. Place this behind houses and trees where shortcuts are usually taken to increase the chance that your friend will fall in. Once someone falls in, the Pitfall is used and cannot be reused until found again.
Darth Link.

Hint: Umbrella:
To get a free Umbrella, design a pattern. Go to your patterns then select "Use" on the pattern you created. Select "Use On Umbrella" and your character will magically have an umbrella in his or her hand. Note: It disappears if you take it off.
Matt Wiley.

Hint: Bugs:
Leave a spoiled onion outside and go back into your house. Go back outside with your net and there will be a bug there. Note: This may not during certain months.
JAGBENNETT_797.

Hint: Free patterns:
This trick requires a Game Boy Advance and link cable. Do some chores for the residents to earn some items and sell them to Tom Nook. Do this until you have at least 5,000 Bells. Then, go to the tailors and talk to Mable. Select "Other Things" then choose "Download Tools". Next, draw your design on your Game Boy Advance and save it. It is a free pattern. Then, talk to Mable again and go to "Upload Pattern". Select the one you desire and transfer it. Close the screen and try your new outfit. You can do this as many times as desired.
Bruce Wang.

Hint: Hear every song:
Make sure you cannot carry anymore items when Totakeke gets to town on Saturday nights. Talk to him and he will play a song. Afterwards, he will notice that you do not have room for the Aircheck. He will tell you to return later. Talk to him again, and he will play a different song. Repeat this until you have heard a song that you like, then drop an item. Talk to him again and request the song you enjoyed.
MZXE.

Hint: Hear town's medley:
If you have Twiggy (bird) or Liz (alligator). talk to them and listen to the background music to hear the town's medley.
Tbo10002.

Hint: Get more than one song per Saturday:
This trick requires at least two memory cards. Have two towns saved, one on each card. At 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, get a song from Totakeke, then go to the other town and get one there. If desired, repeatedly delete the second town, make a new one on the second card, and get a new song each time.
MZXE.

Hint: Get more than one of K.K. Slider's songs:
On Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., visit another town and get a song from K.K. Slider. Leave that town, then repeat the process. You can over 30 songs in one night.
spasianz.

Hint: Secret K.K. Slider songs:
There are four secret songs that Totakeke will not play unless you request them. They are: I Love You, K.K. Song, Two Days Ago, and Only Me.
Spank _, KingofHearts4712, and goldensnitch3787.

The song called "K.K. Song" is actually the theme from the SNES game Mario Paint.
The Flash.

Get a special song from K.K. Slider. Advance the Gamecube's system time one day ahead. Repeat the previous steps until you have all three special songs.
inuyasha.

Hint: Get songs quickly:
Have four people living in your town and make each person get a new song from K.K. Make them all give each song to the person that you want to have all the K. K. songs. Also, you can use two memory cards with four people on the other one to get eight songs, three to get twelve new songs, etc.
Trav3096.

This trick only requires one person (yourself). Be sure the clock is set to Saturday 19:59 (one minute before Totakeke/K.K. Slider shows up). Go to K.K. as usual, and get a song. As soon as K.K. finishes and gives you the song (songs and/or credits last about four to five minutes), go to your house and drop the song into your library. Then, talk to the Gyroid outside, save, and quit the game. Restart the file, but before going into your town, reset the clock to 19:59. Next, quickly load the town. Wait until you hear the 8:00 p.m. bell. Go up and K.K. will be there to play another song. Repeat this as many times as desired.
craig stevens.

On Saturday at 20:00, get a song. Then, save and quit. Go back to the title screen and press Start. Then at the next screen, ask to change the time. Change the time to about 19:50 and keep it on Saturday. Then, load your game. If done correctly, you can get another song. You can keep doing this as long as desired.

Hint: Getting K.K. Slider songs faster:
K.K. Slider has 55 songs. Since you only get them each Saturday (sometimes as rewards for jobs, but not likely), it would normally take over a year to get them all. However, you can use the following tricks to get them all quicker. The faster method is sell all your turnips. Then, set the game clock to Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Get a song. Then, quit, return, and set it to the next Saturday at 8:00 . Repeat until you have all 55 songs. If you do not want to change the clock, use the following method. Start all four characters in your town. Each Saturday, get a song with each of them and give them all to one person by mail or leaving it for free with a Gyroid. Also, start four players in other towns and give the songs via secret codes. You can also go to other towns on Saturday nights. The more of these you do, the more songs you can get faster.
Double A.

Hint: Able Sisters:
Go to Able Sisters and press A besides one of the designs they made. Say "Display Mine", and pick one of your favorite designs that you created. They will now have your design in their store. People who live in your town now may wear your the design you created.
Fireblade Hawk.

Go to the Able Sisters and talk to the blue hedgehog. Go to "Design Pattern", to create your own design. It costs 350 Bells to make one.
STaRbInD68.

Go to the Able sisters shop and design a pattern. When you have completed the pattern, go into your inventory and click on the pencil icon. Select a pattern and it will give you the option to use the pattern on your clothes or umbrella. If you are in you house, you can use your pattern as wallpaper or carpet.
Kate Brenner.

Hint: Sable of the Able Sisters:
Sable (the one behind the sewing machine) will at first be shy and unwilling to talk to you. If you visit the Able Sisters a lot and design many clothing patterns, she will eventually be much more friendly towards you and reveal some details about her past, such as how old Sable and Mable are, what happened to their parents, and other facts.
Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

Hint: Apollo's wake-up time:
Apollo's wake-up time is 10:00 a.m.
kotonichan135.

Hint: Blanca the no faced cat:
Note: This trick requires someone else's town data. To make this easier, put your town data in the memory card in slot A, and your friend's memory card with town data in slot B. Start the game, pack some items, and go to the Porter the monkey at the train station. Say "I'm taking a trip", and you will be boarded on the train. Rover or Blanca will appear. If Rover appears, he will ask you some questions that you can answer easily. Sometimes when you are on the train, a white cat will appear and sit on the available seat near you. Her name will be Blanca. She will have no face. Blanca will ask you what are you staring at. Say something with a lot of detail about her face. She will let you design a face (you will have to know how to draw on an Animal Crossing tablet), with ears already there. Do not erase the circle -- draw in it. When you are finished, the face that you drew will be on her face, slightly stretched. Her mouth cannot move while she talks, and there are numerous eyes to choose from.
Black Cat.

Hint: Gracie: Wash car easier:
Note: This trick requires a controller with an auto-fire feature. As soon as Gracie says "Go", enable auto-fire on A. Your character will automatically wash the car to Gracie's satisfaction.
marillryokolover99.

Hint: Jack:
On Halloween, all the townspeople dress as pumpkin-headed ghouls. One of the pumpkin-heads, however, is really a spirit named Jack. If you find Jack (he is the only one who does not immediately approach you) and give him candy, he will give you a rare piece of Spooky Series furniture. If you want more furniture, repeat the process. You can buy candy from Tom Nook starting ten days before Halloween.
goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Katrina's Fortunes and their effects:
goldensnitch3787.

Love: Villagers of the opposite sex will take a liking to you.
Unpopular: Villagers will act coldly towards you.
Lucky Finances: You will earn and find more Bells than normal.
Lucky Materials: It will become easier to acquire rare items.
Unlucky: You will fall down a lot.

Hint: Katrina: Zelda reference:
If you look carefully when you go to see Katrina, you will see the Triforce on the floor and on the back wall.
Gabe Keast.

Hint: More presents from Santa:
If you go to Santa, he will give you a present. Keep changing clothes and return. He will think you are a different person and keep giving more presents.
Sk8erboiW.

Hint: Get money bags without Tom Nook:
Enter the inventory and go up to the Bells. Press A and you can chose a money bag. Note: You must have that amount.
Chris Kulik.

Hint: Wear whatever you want while working for Tom Nook:
When you are working for Tom Nook at the start of the game, Tom will ask you to plant the flowers around his shop. After doing so, change into any outfit and go back into Tom's store. He will shout at you as soon as you enter, but then he will not care. Talk to him again to continue with the work.
slikdude12592.

Hint: Invincible Tortimer:
Get a Pitfall from the ground or the townspeople. Wait until a special event or holiday when Tortimer is at the wishing well. Get the Pitfall before talking to him for any reason (talking to him sometimes will cause him to disappear when you go away). Bury the Pitfall some place at the wishing well far from the cement and push Tortimer to it. He will not fall in, but if you walk over it you will.
Phandthong.

Hint: Lighthouse:
During the winter, Tortimer the mayor, may take a vacation and ask you to watch the lighthouse while he is away. It will be up to you to light in every day. If you do a good job, he may give you chocolates and the Lighthouse Model.
Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

You can only enter the lighthouse at six o'clock. You can only enter on a day that you have been asked to do so. To enter, simply walk in at the back. There is no door-- just walk around the back of the building.

Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

Hint: Museum: Tip: 2D trees:

Hint: Nook's Store:
The following are the expansions for Tom Nook's store and how to obtain them:
Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

Nook's Cranny: Available at start.

Nook 'n Go: Spend 25,000 Bells worth of merchandise.

Nookway: Spend 65,000 Bells worth of merchandise.

Nookingtons: After getting the Nookway store, buy the entire store out, including one of each sheet of paper. Then, play another character, from your town or otherwise. Have them buy a sheet of paper and within a few days, Nookaway will be closed for "Renovations".

Note: The only way to get the highest level of Tom Nook's store (Nookington's) is to have his transactions reach 150,000 Bells; and a visitor from another town visits Nookway.
goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Alternate music at Nook's Store:
Stay at Tom Nook's After closing time. You should hear different music.
Yacko6.

Hint: Sell multiple items to Tom Nook simultaneously:
Note: This also works for dropping multiple items if you need to clear some pocket space. Go to Nook's Store as usual. Approach Mr. Nook, and when he asks what he can help you with, tell him you wish to sell an item as usual. When your inventory screen appears, use the pointer to indicate the item you wish to sell, however instead of pressing A, press X. It will now be highlighted with a green circle. Do this with each of the items that you wish to sell. When you get to the last item you wish to sell and have highlighted it, keep the pointer over that item and press the A. Choose "Sell All," and Mr. Nook will total up his purchase price for everything and then let you accept or decline the amount.
silenceinashroud.

Hint: Tom Nook passwords:
For the "Tell Tom Nook" codes, go to Tom Nook's shop and when he talks to you, select "Other Things." Then, choose "Say Password" and type in the desired code. You can do this up to three times a day. Sometimes he might say that you are not the chosen winner, or something else. He also might tell you to send a certain code to a villager.
kotonichan135.

Hint: Post Office bank:
After paying off your last house debt to Tom Nook, the Bank will allow you to store extra money at the Post Office. After depositing enough money, you will receive the following prizes:
Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

1,000,000 Bells: Tissue
10,000,000 Bells: Piggy Bank
100,000,000 Bells: Mailbox
999,999,999 Bells: Post Office Model

Hint: Increase HRA rating:
Catch an expensive fish such as the Coelacanth and choose to put it in your house. It will boost your HRA rating. However, if you put a large number of them in one room, the HRA will not like it that much. The more points you get from the HRA, the better. If you reach 70,000, they will send you a lot of Bells as a prize. After that, if you hit 150,000 you will get an even bigger prize.
joebobcool39.

If you happen to acquire a Black Queen, do not sell it to Nook. Although it costs you 23,400 Bells to buy it back, it is better that you keep it. If you get it. put it anywhere in your main room and it will increase your HRA rating by about 5,000 to 7,000 points. Once you get more money, buy up to three of them and put them in your house, increasing your HRA rating by an astounding 30,000 points which will surely get you the prize for the 70,000. Also, place all the items you get from Tortiemer the mayor (Turtle) anywhere in your room along with what you get from the "Fallen Sailor" that is randomly found on the beach. When you put them in your house, place them anywhere because the HRA will not classify it as a "Mess On The Floor".
joebobcool39.

If you are having trouble getting HRA points, try the following. If you dig up a Gyroid, do not sell it. The Gyroids rank up over 820 points with the HRA. Also if you have told at least one animal your birthday, you will receive a birthday cake. The HRA gives you 1000 points for each cake. Also, if a special event happens, talk to Tortimer and he will give you a rare item. They are worth from 1031 to 1111 points.
linda.

Set up dinosaurs skeletons in your house. Send the fossil (the little blue round thing) to the museum and when you get it back, you can put in your house. Dinosaurs and Gyroids give you a lot of HRA points. Also, the more furniture you have of one kind (such as a cabana or ranch), the more points you will receive. This includes wallpaper and carpet.
Alienarea84.

Hint: Second house:
This trick requires a Game Boy Advance and a link cable. Turn on the Game Boy Advance, then talk to Kappn. Go to the island. There are two houses there. In one of the houses lives the island native. The other house is empty. Drop your stuff inside and acts as like a second house. Note: The second house is as big as the basement or second upgrade of your normal house.
Matt Wiley.

Hint: Upgrade to a larger house:
Pay off all your debt to Nook then talk to him. He will thank you for paying it off then ask if you want a bigger house. Answer "Yes" and he will tell you to wait one day. Your house will then be bigger.
SStreetFighter0.

After you have enlarged your house the first time and pay that off, Tom Nook will ask if you want a basement or if you want to enlarge your house again. Choose the basement because it is a lot cheaper to pay off than the 380,000 bells for enlarging your home. You will then have a big basement to store your items in that the HR does not score you on. After paying that off, choose to enlarge your house and pay off the 380,000 bells.

Once you first pay off your house to Tom Nook, do not get the basement. Get the enlargement instead, because it will help your HRA rating and it costs less. The basement is not judged.
NAYRBaCkWoRdS*333.

You can expand your home up to five times:
diahann and Light dude.

Initial house: 17,400 Bells
Living room expansion: 148,000 Bells
Basement: 49,800 Bells
Second house upgrade: 398,000 Bells
Second floor : 798,000 Bells
Total cost: 1,410,800 Bells

Hint: Store more items in your house:
If your house cannot hold any more items and your Gyroid is also full, save the old letters you receive from the Museum, HRA, Mom, etc. Then, take the items you do not want to lose and attach them to the old letters. Then, go to the Post Office and select "Save A Letter." The game will actually be saving the item you did not want to lose (the Harvest Moon, the Autumn Medal, etc.) There are over 100 places to save a letter.
John Wallace.

If you have a lot of items in your basement and cannot add anything else, it is much easier to spend some money ordering wardrobes to put things in. It will be expensive, but you will have three times more room if you put all the items in the wardrobe. It is better to get one squared wardrobes instead of the two squared, as the two squared holds the same amount as the one. You cannot put furniture, fish, or bugs in them, but most everything else can go inside. Make sure to put leave enough room to walk and to open the wardrobes.
Stephen Ward.

Hint: Leaving tools with the Island Animal:
If you leave some tools with the Island Animal and then use the Game Boy Advance, the native will be able to use them. For example, he or she will be able to dig up items and fish for treasure. One such treasure may be an NES game.
Animal Crossing Ahead: Version 1.0 via MCGundamFighter.

You can leave an ax on the island the same way that you leave nets, fishing rods, and shovels. If you do this, the islander will cut down trees.
Bnefriends.

Hint: Island warehouse:
You can use the beach house as warehouse for storing items. Also, there us no HRA.
Bnefriends.

Hint: Cheating the animals:
If an animal asks you to play a game where you have to guess something for all your money, you can cheat by attaching most of your money into old letters. This way, they can only take the money in your wallet.
TmAnRuLeS11.

Hint: Get animals to move to your town:
If you have a lot of weeds and your town lacks green and flowers, you will not have animals move to your town as often. Also, be nice to the ones that are in your town.
Optimus Prime.

Hint: Tan:
If you stay on the Animal Island (through a Game Boy Advance and link cable) for about an hour or two, you will eventually get a nice tan. However, none of the animals seem to notice it.
TmAnRuLeS11.

Note: You can get sunburned. To prevent this from happening, bring a parasol or an umbrella if you are going to spend a lot of time on the Island.
Laura person.

In the summer, around July and August, stay outside a while, run around, do chores, etc. After a few days you will eventually start to turn brown. Note: If you visit another town when tan you will turn pale. Also, this type of tan is almost permanent.
KirbyDeluxe.

Hint: Keep axe from breaking:
When your axe breaks while you are cutting a tree, you do not have to buy another one. When you hear the axe break, immediately press Start and put your axe away. This will stop it from breaking completely.
BasiaMik.

Hint: Getting the Lovely Phone:
This Lovely series item is given to you by Tortimer the Mayor on Mother's Day. At 10:00 a.m., go to the wishing well and he will hand over the Lovely Phone. He will not be there at any other time. After 11:00 a.m., he will leave.
Colhan3000.

Hint: Zombie:
Be very careful about saving you game after visiting a friend's village. If you reset the game or lose power while in a different village, you will lose all the items and money in your inventory. You will also turn into a strange zombie-looking character (which lasts about a day)
goldensnitch3787.

Hint: Flashing character:
If you have a Starman in your house, press A while standing in front of it to play the Starman theme music from Super Mario Bros. Your character will also start to flash, as if he or she were invincible.
Ellaniloc.

Hint: Free clothes:
Sometimes a bird with a sports car will appear in your town. If you talk to her, she will say that she is a fashion designer. She will comment on your clothes and will ask you to wash her car (and give you instructions). If you wash her car well, she will give you some clothes. However, if you fail to make her car shine, she tell you to go away and you cannot wash her car again until a few minutes later, when she moves. You can then try to wash it again.
bayoo bob.

Set the date to October 31st at 21:00 on the "Before I Go" screen. Wear any pattern and find a trick or treater. Refuse to give them candy and most likely you will be tricked, and your pattern will be turned to rags and will become a shirt called the "Patched Shirt". When you go to the pattern screen, your pattern will still be there. Use your pattern and set it for clothes. The "Patched Shirt" will drop into your inventory. Repeat this process until you have all the shirts you want, then sell them the next day.
Chad Boeve.

Go to the far left on your inventory screen. You will have a screen displaying all of your personal designs. Create one or pick from the blanks they have and select to use it on clothes. This will unequip your current clothes. You can sell them if desired. If you do this, you will leave yourself with an open slot for clothes on your body. When you equip new clothes, it removes your pattern, but not to your inventory. By doing this you can carry clothes which are worth valuable Bells if you are trying to play the game legitimately or somehow end up with too much on you, and you happen to have clothes, but only a pattern equipped.
Sin Schism.

Hint: Start a new type of fruit in your town:
Go around town trying to work for people. If someone asks you for a letter or tells you "I wish I got a letter". Send them one with something attached (preferably fruit), and they might give you native fruit. Plant the fruit in the ground. Skip one week in "Before I go...". Pick it again and plant it everywhere. Continue the process. Each native fruit sells for 500 bells.
Nickz2234.

This trick requires two memory cards. On the first memory card, you will have your main town that you are planning to stay with. Create a new town on the second memory card. Look at the type of native fruit and people the new town has. If you need them, take a trip to your main town with pockets full of fruit and plant them. You will have to finish all of Nook's chores before you can take a trip. One of the townspeople from the second memory card will follow you to your main town and stay there. You can go back and forth between towns to gain many people, but they will stop coming once the town is down to five residents. You have to be careful; if you make your main character take a trip to another town, you will lose one of your own people to that town. Keep making new towns until you have all the different kinds of fruit, and as many people as you desire.
Wes Westerfield.

Hint: Growing trees:
Use this trick to make sure your trees grow where you plant them. Plant your tree where a weed grew. It is sure to grow and not die.
cher hung.

Once you plant a tree or sapling in a location and it withers and dies, do not plant it in the same spot again.
cher hung.

To successfully grow trees in your village, completely surrounded them with items. This works most, but not all, of the time.
jsilano.

Do not plant trees in the shade. They will wilt and die.
Brian Denton.

If you want to plant a tree, use your shovel to dig two holes by the side of a tree. The first one should be on the left or right side of a tree, and the other hole by the side of your first hole. Then, bury your sapling or fruit in the second hole that you dug. You can only have up to 30 trees in each acre.
kitfox27.

Hint: Spiders:
If you do not go in your house or play the game for a long time, little spiders will run across your floor. Without a net, they seem impossible to destroy. If you walk on them a few times they will stop and freeze then fade away. Then, little spider-shaped ghosts will fly to your roof and off the screen.
GameboyCastle.

Hint: Filling holes:
It is tedious when you chop down trees, then dig up the stumps and cover up the holes. To solve this, walk to the place where you will switch screens when it goes up, down, left, and right or where the sea captain takes you to the island. Just switch screens and the holes you did not cover up will be gone.
Danny.

Hint: Model lights:
In a model building, press A and the lights will turn on.
Rommel Espina.

Hint: Home theater:
If you go to Crazy Redd's shop and he has a wide screen television, buy it. Then, place it down in your basement back as far as you can. Next, buy sixteen chairs and place them in rows of four. It will be as if you have your very own movie theater. Note: You must have a basement. It works better if you also have a soda machine, candy machine and coffee machine down there. Also, the sixteen chairs that you buy must all be the same type.
Dominic Manganiello.

Hint: Stop the rain:
To make it stop raining, make a new person. When you are at your town, it will stop raining.
Mike Flores.

Hint: Talking to people:
When you are talking to residents, talk the same person repeatedly. Talking to them too much will upset them. However, in a few minutes they will get over it. By doing this, they will reveal more of the workings of Animal Crossing to you. You also stand a much greater chance of playing a game, getting free items, or trading things with them.
BL Campbell.

Hint: Talk to people while they are in a pitfall:
Bury a pitfall and push a neighbor into it. You can talk to them as usual. However, when you press A to talk to them, they will shout "I can't believe it! You put this here, didn't you, you jerk!". They will bounce out of the hole and will not be angry, as if nothing happened.
slikdude12592.

Hint: Angry people:
To anger the residents of the town, push them around by walking into them, or hitting them with your bug net repeatedly.
dave williams.

Talk to residents repeatedly and they may not give you the option to talk to them (and instead say that they are too busy).
TIm.

Hint: Swearing people:
Every now and then when you talk to your villagers and go to chat, they will ask you to make up a new phrase for them to say all the time. When you enter an obscene word, they will not let you use it. The word will disappear when you press Start. However, if you put a capital letter somewhere in the word, they will accept it, and your villager will swear at you the next time you talk to them.
PureMarioExtract.

Hint: Applauding people:
If a villager is facing you when you catch a fish, he or she will start clapping.
SSJ4SATURNduo.

Hint: Rainbow:
On clear sunny days, go to the hill above the waterfall and look at it. Sometimes you can see a rainbow.

Hint: Remove unwanted villagers:
There are several ways to make unwanted villagers move from your town. If you are just starting out, make sure to finish doing your work for Tom Nook before you begin the removal process. One method is to hit the unwanted villager(s) with your Bug Net many times a day. This alone will usually not make them move away. Then, send them hate mail with attachments of garbage (boots, cans, and tires) to make them feel unloved and sad. To make villagers understand your hate mail, be sure to put their name and the names of other villagers in quotes within the body of your message (for example, "I hate you "Stella". Move out of my town now! I talked to "Boots" the other day, and he said that he hates you too!"). Note: You must put village names and names of players and/or villagers in quotes for the recipients to understand. Also, you must use correct grammar and punctuation. The villager may not move away immediately. Keep at it, and they will eventually move out. Do not allow them to communicate with other villagers, or they will form a bond and start to like your town. Start to "attack" them the day they move in, or immediately after you finish your Nook-Work if they are already in your town to start with. If you find a pitfall, make the unwanted villager walk into it and become stuck. Do not speak to them. Leave them in the hole for as long as you wish. They will stay in the pit until you speak to them or save the game. Also, if you have an axe, try to hit the villager with it. This is extremely difficult, but can be done. Try doing this while running towards them at an angle. A second method is to change the year when the unwanted villager moves into your town. Set it ahead a couple of years and then begin the game. Do not go over one or two years or you will be overwhelmed with weeds. If an acceptable villager has moved in, pluck the weeds that are in your town and save the game. Switch the time back to what it should be. Continue playing as normal. If the villager is not acceptable, reset the game and repeat the process. Do not save the game if the villager is unwanted. You will be stuck with it, even if you change the time back to the real year. Note: This process will cause Mr. Resetti/Don to appear every time you reset for another villager. Nothing serious will happen until about the ninth time. Then, Mr. Resetti will demand payment in Bells for your "crime".
TwistedFrieza.

Get or find a pitfall. Bury a pitfall near someone you do not like. Push them over the buried pitfall and they will fall in. They will squirm, and if you leave without helping them, they will have a greater chance of leaving. If that does not work, hit them with the net and push them. If that still does not work, take a trip.
MatthewSteele1.

Hint: Playing golf:
This trick requires a shovel and a ball. You can find one somewhere in the town. If it goes in the water, go into a house and it will appear somewhere else in the town. Find and move the ball to an open area. Dig a hole somewhere and try to kick the ball in it, or hit it with your shovel if it is close enough to the hole. You can also play this with two players. Run at the ball if the hole is far away, or walk into the ball if the hole is close. You can hit it with your shovel if you just need to tap it into the hole. When the ball is in the hole, hit it with the shovel to knock it back out. You can also place sign boards at the holes and number them like a real course and plant trees to change the course and make it more difficult.
Bargaingree-d.

Hint: Alternate opening sequence:
Watch the opining sequence three times. A different voice will say "Nintendo". It is even more different during the fourth time.
KAK-Arthur.

Hint: Choose "No" automatically:
If one of the things you can say is "No", "Maybe Not", "I'm not buying.", etc., you can press B and the pointer will automatically go to the "No" option and choose it, so you will not have to scroll down manually. Note: This will only work if you have a "No" option.

Hint: Mario reference:
Look at a Spring Medal closely. You cam see Mario's face from the SNES game, Super Mario All Stars.
Yacko6.

Note: This can also be done with the Fall Medal.
BiohazardXS.

Hint: Earthbound reference:
The beginning of the song K.K. Rockin' is one of the battle music selections from Earthbound.
TmAnRuLeS11.

The spelling of K.K. Rockin refers to a PSI attack in Earthbound. Even though you could name the attack, Rockin was the first "Don't Care" selection.
WB2&pARAcnOwnU.

Hint: Mega Man Legends reference:
The entire "Go KK Rider!" song is actually the Boss music or the race song from the Mega Man Legends.
Bobmoate.

Hint: Play without disc:
The game is small enough to fit in the Gamecube's RAM, without requiring access to the game disc. At any point during the game (after the Nintendo logo), you can remove the game disc from the system, and continue to play the game. There does not seem to be anything that makes the game crash, give an "insert disc" screen, or malfunction in any way. The game will stay in the Gamecube's memory until the system is powered off or reset. This is very useful if a friend would like to play Animal Crossing, but does not own the game. As long as the player never shuts down the Gamecube, hits reset, or unplugs the system, the game will continue. However, because you cannot shut the system off, this prevents you from playing any other Gamecube game. However, you can just "install" the game again later and continue playing normally. Note: You will still need a memory card with an Animal Crossing saved game file or enough space for one if you would like to save your game in between a "swap" (putting Animal Crossing onto the Gamecube's memory once again).
puzzlebobble.

Hint: Upgrades:
If there is a upgrade in your town, set the clock ahead one day then play. It will now be upgraded. You can set the game back to the real date and it will still be upgraded.
1234.

Hint: Telling time:
Look at the train station clock above the archway where you walk in. This shows the correct time, and lets you know about cool events that take place during the year.
Black Cat.

You can tell time by the following things. Shake the nearest tree and you will know the time. Take out any tool (shovel, net, axe or fishing rod) and use to hit the ground or something else. Note: Using the fishing rod or axe may not always work. Stay in a house or store for awhile then exit or press the inventory. Wait awhile, then press it again.
Phandthong.

Hint: Skip time:
When the Gamecube logo appears, hold A + B to get to the memory card screen. You can change the system clock to whatever time you wish. Begin the game and you should start at that day.
Alancoren51.

The game allows you to change the setting before you load it when beginning. When it asks "Are you ready?", the options are "Yes" and "Before I go". Select "Before I go" and it will allow you to change the game's time without changing with the system clock (which also effects other Gamecube games that rely on it) Also, if you have bought turnips to sell them in the Stalk Market and change the system clock or the game time, they may go bad. It depends on the amount of time -- the game remembers.
BL Campbell.

Note: Play a little every day. While you can reset the game's clock and go to Nook's store, this gets old. Also, resetting the clock disrupts timed events that you do not know about. The game is filled with events that depend on month, day, and hour. It is better to just play the game as it unfolds. You will get more furniture, carpet, etc. this way. When you change the time, it disrupts the chain of events permanently and you may end up actually getting less new things then you would if you just played the game as it was supposed to be played.
BL Campbell.

Hint: NES Punch Out:
This requires a memory card with your town data and another memory card. Start a new town with a town name of Tzu and a name of _Lao (where "_" indicates a space). Then, tell the following code to Tom Nook.

3Ec5za9xYcxkLm
yYR9ry0z%ucJ6V

After that, travel to your own town and drop it there. Then, travel back to Tzu and save and quit. Then, delete that file if desired. On your real town you will have Punch Out.

Glitch: Trip to nowhere:
Have a second memory card in slot B with no town data in it. Three memory blocks will be used to create travel data and you will get on the train. You will instantly return to the starting screen. When you start the game again, you will get off the train as if you had just started the game.
Saposaur64.

Glitch: Animal personalities:
If you have two animals in your town that have the same personality, sometimes they will say the same thing as the other one in town. For example, if your cow says "Moo La La" after every sentence, a kangaroo with the same personality will also start to say "Moo La La".
AtariPlayer247.

If two animals have the same personality, it does not mean they might share the same word. Some animals have glitches in them, and when one of those animals talks to the other, they "inherit" their word. Two animals that this happens with are Chevre and Candi.
kwylde.

Glitch: Obtain DUMMY Item:
When there is snow on the ground, your neighbors may set up igloos. Sometimes, an animal will want to play a game with you, where you have to pick two bags. One bag contains free furniture, and the other has wallpaper which you must buy for 3,000 Bells. Occasionally, an item called DUMMY will appear. This is a piece of furniture that is actually a glitch within the game. It looks like a floating white triangle with "dummy" written out in Japanese red text. This item does not appear in your catalog, and you cannot sell it.

Glitch: Changing clothes:
On Halloween, choose a shirt that you do not like and find somebody. When they ask you for candy, say "No". They will get mad and turn your clothes into rags. Take one of your designs and use it as clothing. Talk to someone else and say "No". They will turn your clothes into rags again. Wearing the rags that you just received. talk to one last person and refuse to give them candy. The rags that are in your inventory will turn into either a Jack-O-Lantern or a Jack-in-the-Box.

Glitch: Hit animal with axe:
After you finish talking to any animal with an axe in your hands, immediately press A. You should be allowed to hit them on the head with the axe. Do it again if it does not allow it the first time. Glitch: Disappearing act:
Whenever the view changes to the town clock at a certain time (for example, December 24, any fishing tournament day, and other holidays), make sure that you are directly under the clock. Buy everything. Leave and look around town again. You will then see Redd in front of a sign. Talk to him, and he will walk into the sign and disappear. If you stand in between him and the sign, he will walk through you. If you dig a hole in between him and the sign, he will walk over it.
Tristin Anderson.

Glitch: Turn yourself into a ghost:
This trick requires two memory cards with data. Begin a game and travel to the town on the other memory card. When you get there, turn off the Gamecube. Start the game on the first memory card, and you will have black dots for your eyes and mouth, you will not have a nose. Note: After performing this trick, you will have lost all the items you were carrying in your start menu and the money. All the items in your house will still be there, and Resseti will not appear.
SiegeLN3.

Glitch: Stuck with delivery item:
Talk to a villager that you dislike and ask them if they have any jobs for you. If they say "Yes" and want you to deliver something, agree. Do not deliver the item. Then, try to make them leave the town; hit them, push them, and write hate mail to them. If they leave, you will be stuck with the delivery item.
Felix Guard.

Note: You cannot get rid of the delivery item by conventional methods, but you are not stuck with it forever. If you go to the Wishing Well with the delivery item after the owner moves away, there should be an option to "relieve" you of your duties. Choosing this option will get rid of the now useless item.
CommanderPommy.

Glitch: Piano music without piano:
Get any type of piano then put it down in your house. Press A on the piano and immediately after it starts the town song, press B.

Glitch: See through person:
You can see through the head of Phyllis (the purple gull mail carrier) at night.

Hint: Get A Life Chapter 3: Throw a raging party:
Turn on the Stereo. Then, turn on the Bug Zapper. . Set the Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold to any smell. Next, order pizza or cook some hamburgers and invite the party members. When they arrive, start eating. After they are done eating, go in the hot tub or watch television. Make sure you have the best television, or the hot tub that seats four people. After a while a screen appear that reads "This party rocks!". You can now get a roommate.
KYLEB12.

During story mode you can throw a raging party by having one of your Sims play the guitar. Everyone will come into the room and clap or boo the person that is playing. After 30 seconds a message about you having a great party will appear.
KrAzYkOOlDuDe11.

If your Creativity and Cooking skills are at the maximum, this should be easy. Serve Dinner, call friend to throw party, greet one person (do not talk, just greet), then play guitar. People should either listen to you play, or eat the food. It should not take more than two hours to get a raging party afterwards.
Hildaleonz.

Hint: Get A Life mode: Job promotions:
When you are living with your mom, build up your stats until they are full. To do this, enable the "Free mode" code and buy everything for studying Cooking, Mechanical, Body, Logic, Creativity, and Charisma. After your stats are full, make about eight family friends. An easy way to do this is to get your friendship level with someone to about 75, until you can hug them. Continue to hug them until the rating is 100. After you have full stats and eight friends, move out and you will not have to worry about job promotions, and should get through levels quickly. Note: The higher your friendship rating is with someone, the longer you can go without calling them. You must have family friends to get promoted.
Hildaleonz.

To get a promotion, your Sim must have at least one green bar, the correct number of friends, and all the skills needed for that profession.

Hint: Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold:
The Aromaster Whifferpuff Gold costs 2,500 Simoleons and is a good item to get your Sim's moods up quickly. Even though it might break a few times, it is one of the top items that a thief will go for. It has four settings:

Peppermint and Juniper: Increases Comfort
Lavender and Majoram: Increases Fun
Juniper and Rosemary: Increases Energy
Rosemary and Peppermint: Increases Room

You can use multiple Aromaster Whifferpuffers at time. The best way to use it is, before you go to sleep put it on the second setting. When you awake, your Sim will be in a very good mood, with at least three green bars as he/she has a full energy bar and a full fun bar.
Ryan.

Hint: KraftKing Wood Working Table:
You can put Mom to work building Gnomes with the KraftKing woodworking table. Any money you make from this home crafts project can be pocketed when you leave.
Ryan.

Hint: Easy money:
Enable the "Free mode" code, then go to your house and buy a lot of expensive items. After that, save then restart your system. Do not enter the code again, then sell your items back for more money. The best item to do this with is the Monkey Butler Tree, which is worth 15,000 Simoleans.
zac watson.

Enable the "Free mode" code, then move your Sims into the cheapest house available. Then, buy a lot of expensive items (such as the Monkey Butler). After this, evict your Sims from that house, but do not empty the house. By doing this, your Sims keep the "assets" that they had, which turn into money for them. The house will then cost something similar to 99,999 Simoleans. To counter this, enter build mode for the house you moved your Sims out of, then sell off the Monkey Butler and other items you put up. The house will be cheap again. Move your Sims back in and they will have a lot of money.
Lori Wright.

Enable the "Free mode" code, start a game, and buy fifteen Heart Hot Tubs. Note: These must be unlocked in Get A Life mode first. After buying them, save the game and quit. Turn off the PlayStation2 to disable the code. Return to the same game and sell all the Heart Hot Tubs that were bought to get up to 99,999 Simoleans. Notice that when you pay bills, buy something, etc., your money will not decrease.
Justin Kennedy.

Buy a workbench and heighten your Mechanical, Creativity, and Body. Keep making Gnomes. If you have a very high status, you should be able to sell each gnome for at least 100 Simoleans. Making gnomes only take about one to two seconds each if you have a very high status.
Deathscythe403.

Have a Sim with a high creative level. Start a painting or a sculpture. After it has been started, tell that Sim to stop, then have another Sim (with no creative points) finish it. Sell it, and you will still get as much money as you would if the Sim that originally started it had also finished it. You can even have your kids finish your painting and still get as much as if the parent did the painting.
gamerland.

In Play The Sims mode, take an empty square of land and build on it with just the wall tool. When there is no more room, leave the neighborhood. Move in a family (at least 13,405 Simoleans required), then sell all the walls in build mode. After that, leave the neighborhood. You will have regained the 13,405 Simoleans, plus an additional 4,285 Simoleans
pirate N.I.

Enable the "Free mode" and "Midas mode" codes. Go to an open location to make a house. Buy about 50 Monkey Butlers, and move the family in. Save the game, then return to the main screen. Disable the "Free mode" code, then return to the Monkey Butler-infested area. Sell them all for a large profit then make your own house.
KKleenex4me.

When you finish a chapter, the phone will ring. Answer it and you will get lots of Simoleans from someone named Malcolm. The higher the chapter, the more money you will get.
Elarne Westwood.

Enable the "Free mode" and "Midas mode" codes in neighborhood mode. Go to a deserted plot of land. Move in a family, and fill the place with as many Persian rugs as possible until the net worth is very high. Then, save the game and go to the neighborhood screen and evict the family. After evicting your family, bulldoze the house that you just built. You can repeat this as many times as desired.
Omar Mohammed.

Enable the "Free mode" code. Go to Get A Life mode and remodel your mom's home. For example, get her a big screen television. Then, move out of your mom's home and she will give you money for all of the remodeling that was done. The more you remodel, the more money you get.
RoCkinMiDgEt9191.

If your child gets a very good grade (for example, an A+) and they keep studying, within a few days you should get money from a grandparent.
Sasedgeman.

Lay the most expensive flooring sample manually by holding A and stretching the flooring from one corner of the room to the other. Then, pull up the flooring automatically by selecting the "Grass" sample and holding the L or R (preview) to cover the entire room in grass and pressing A. It costs much more money to lay things automatically than it is to lay it manually. When you lay the expensive flooring manually and the grass automatically, you will gain back the difference in Simoleons. To make this go faster, buy an empty lot and build nothing except a large room that spans the maximum build area of the lot. Use this area to lay flooring. It may take you a few attempts to be able to afford to cover the entire lot in the expensive flooring, and you may need to manually lay only half the room in expensive flooring during the first few times. Still, lay the grass automatically for it to work. It is possible to get back about 8,000 Simoleons per attempt on the large lot. If you are running so low on money and are going to go broke any minute, this is a quick way of getting out of the hole without having to actually sell anything.
IJesusWeptI.

Whenever you catch a burglar in Get A Life mode, you can get up to 10,000 Simoleons.
JmeNicole13.

Enable the "Free mode" and "Midas mode" codes. Buy a plot of land with a family. Then. buy as many love beds as possible. While doing this, the price of the house will increased. Once you have squeezed in as many love beds as possible, or the purchase meter becomes full, evict the family (and empty the house). Bulldoze the lot. The family that was just in there will have about 300 Simoleons. Keep doing this until you get 999,999 Simoleons.
CrazyChris666.

Hint: Stat management:
The best stats to use are maximum Active for studying and no outgoing, so your Social bar stays up longer. Put the rest on "Nice", for friends. If there is anything left over, put them on Playful. It is easier to get your Fun level up by playing pinball than to read a book for five hours.
Bang Bang.

Outgoing: The higher you put this stat, the faster your Social meter goes down.

Active: The higher you put this stat, the longer you will study, work out, etc.

Nice: The higher you put this stat, the faster it is to get a friendship rating up.

Playful: If this is high, you like to play games. If it is low, you like to read books (not study).

Neat: The higher it is, the more things you can clean by yourself. For example, tell a Sim with no Neat to clean a plate and they will pick up one plate. Tell a Sim with maximum Neat to pick up a plate, and they will pick up all the plates.

Hint: X-Treme Carrier Completion:

Josh Stephens.

If your energy or any other stats get low, evict yourself from the house. Reenter the house and all your stats will be renewed.
Adam Johnson.

Sell everything in the house except a mirror, guitar, and a pool. Enable the "Free mode" code and leave the game running. Your Sims will build up Charisma, Creative, and Body points by themselves. The only other thing you will need to do is eat and use the rest room. The best time to do this is when you are living with your mom.
Bang Bang.

Hint: Easy Body meter increase:
Get a weight set. Grab a cheap table and set it by the weight set. Note: Make sure your Sim can get on the weight set. When the table is in place, buy an aroma machine and place it on the table. Enter Live mode and have your Sim turn on the aroma machine to Juniper and Rosemary, then work out. You will notice your Sims energy will stay the same as he or she works on its body without getting tired.
Zach32.

Hint: Getting in a good mood:
After you wake up in the morning, go to the bathroom. If you have to flush the toilet, do so and if you have to clean it, also do it. Then, take a shower (clean if desired). Then, have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Watch television until Fun has increased. This should put you in a green bar mood, ready for work or study.
KURT.

Hint: Easy Fun meter increase:
Buy a Whifferpuff Plus and place it next to your bed. Set it to Lavender and Marjoram and your Fun meter will drastically increase as you sleep.
Ryan.

Hint: Quicker energy:
Go to build mode and select the second fireplace. Put the fireplace in your room. Next, buy the most comfortable bed (Modern Mission Bed) and put it one or two spaces in front of the fireplace, but not directly in front of it. Then, buy two square tables and put both of them on each side of the bed. Next, buy the Aromster Whifferpuff "Gold" and place them on both tables. Before going to bed, turn on the fireplace, and set both Aromsters to Juniper and Rosemary. You can be fully rested after about four hours and be ready for work.
SSJRandall1025.

Get the bed with the highest Energy status (10) and get all your Sims except the one you want to get more energy. Get him or her into the Napoleon Sleigh bed that you bought earlier. When he gets in, the time will get even shorter and he or she will get energy quicker.
jonathan mark pollard.

Hint: Work out and not lose energy:
Buy a Wifferpuff and table. Put both directly next to a work out machine, treadmill, or weights. Set the Wifferpuff to Juniper and Rosemary. Start working out and you will not lose energy.
Jay.

Hint: Quick wake up:
When you have full energy and you want your person to wake up, you just tell them something to do. They will get up and do whatever you wanted them to.
Kurt.

Hint: Keep Aroma Machine from breaking:
If you are having trouble with your Aroma Machine. put it on the Kinderstuff Night Stand.
Msmith729.

Hint: Get A Life mode: Easy Body Point:

Choose a desired career and build all up your work stats while living with your Mom. Do not worry about making friends yet. Look at the last career promotion to see what also needs to be raised. Even though your Mom will drive you up the wall, you will get through the next stages easily.
Doctor Wright.

Hint: Unlock everything in build and buy mode:
Get to chapter 2 in get a life mode. Complete all things except for getting promoted to career level 2 and move out of the house. When you have done that, save the game and return to the main menu. Enable the "Free mode", "Midas mode", and "Party Motel mode" codes. When you enter The Sims mode, all of the things are now unlocked in build and buy mode.
Annehdulaney.

Hint: Cheaper houses:
Enable the "Free mode" or "Midas mode" code. Go to Play The Sims mode. If a character does not have enough money to buy a house, bulldoze a worthless house and move that family in the field; or if there is a place with no house, move the family into that area. Pause game play and start building your house however desired.
Boogerman128.

Enable the "Free mode"" and "Midas mode" code. Build a frame for the house and move in a family. Build, buy, and sell until you want to stop.
Asjmk.

Instead of a 80,000 Simoleon house, clear the lot where a house is. Then, move a family in the ''grassland''. When moved in, build the house. Instead of a 80,000 Simoleon house you will have a 3,000 Simoleon house.

Enable the "Free mode" code, then choose a blank address (a place with no houses). Then, enter family and build your house.
Dj914477.

Hint: Getting married:
To get married easily, invite a Sim of the opposite sex. But first, always throw a party and pick the Sim you want to marry. "Greet" them, "Talk" to them, then when they want to leave you will know their phone number. After dark, call that person. "Invite" them over. If they say "Sure", wait for them. Get to know them more. When you get the chance to "Flirt" with them, do so. Sooner or later she or he will fall in love with you. The next day (or perhaps on same day), get your Sim in a good mood (three green bars or more). Then, "Serve Dinner (Lunch, etc.)". When they are done eating as much as they desire, watch television. While they are watching television, highlight your "Guest" and give them the command to "Watch TV". They will "Watch TV" with you, talk to you, and their comfort will rise. Next ,"Talk" with them, "Tell Jokes", "Hug", "Dance", etc. If your Sim is still in a good mood (three green bars or more), you will have the option to "Propose" to the Sim you want to marry, Sometimes they will not accept (you will hear warning sirens) and they will state a reason. Do whatever they wanted you to do. When you fulfill their requests, "Propose" again. If you are lucky, they will accept. Note: You can only do this in Play The Sims mode.
KrazyKyle199102.

Hint: Having a baby:
Create a family in Play The Sims mode. Get your Sim married. Then, evict your family and them back. Take the married couple to the bathroom and kiss. It may require four or five kisses for it to work. A little box will appear and ask if you want a baby.
Joe Jenness.

bill talley.

Nykid807.

Hint: Raising a baby:
When you and your partner have a baby, stay off work until the baby is a child. Do not pick up the phone or you will be fired. Then, put in a toilet, fridge and PC in your room so that you never have to leave it. Next, when the baby starts crying, make sure you are immediately there, and feed then sing (in that order). When it is asleep, also go to sleep. In a few days you should have a child.
disco-girl 2005.

Hint: Losing baby to Social Services:
If you have a baby, you will notice that it cries frequently. When you click on it, "Play", "Feed", and "Sing" will appear. If you just sing to it, it will go to sleep. If you do not sing, play, and feed it every time it cries, a message will appear about a day later that states "You are neglecting your baby. If you do not pay attention to it soon, it'll be taken away from you." If you continue to neglect it, a day or so later, a woman from SimCity Social Services will appear and take your baby away. There is nothing you can do to stop this once she has entered your house.
Tater Tot Wojkowski.

In Get A Life mode, get a girlfriend. You may get a call from City Hall asking if you want to adopt a baby. Make a room for it and take the door off. Let it starve. After a few days a City Hall agent should arrive to take the baby away. With the door gone she cannot get through. However after awhile she will pass by it and take the baby.

Go over to your baby carriage, zoom in, then change the view so you can see where the baby's head should be. You will see a blue pillow and a little blue baby head.
Tater Tot Wojkowski.

Hint: Disappearing baby:
If you moved out of a house and into a new one while your baby is still in a carriage, it will disappear. Because you can pick it up and move it around in Buy Mode, it is considered a piece of furniture. When you normally move, your furniture does not go with you.
Tater Tot Wojkowski.

Desertthunder300.

Hint: Bills on the ground:
Sell all your tables and counters, then put plants on top of your dish washer, trash compactor, etc. Your Sim will then put all the bills that are received on the ground. This looks very funny if you throw a party while the bills are on the ground.
Gaviance.

Hint: Never pay bills:
This trick only works in Play The Sims mode. If you do not want to pay your bills, evict your family from the house every two days then move them back in.
bill talley.

Put a fireplace in an empty room. When bills arrive, place them in the room on the left side of the fireplace. Have a Sim light a fire. When the bills burn to ash, call the fire department. This trick also works on multiple bills. Note: If any Sims die during the fire, reset the game.
Bnefriends.

Hint: Easy garbage removal:
When you are emptying the automatic trash compactor you do not have to go all the way outside... To save time, pull it out of the compactor then just cancel the throwing away (B). Then, just pick it up and put it back in.
luvmonkey.

Hint: Keep Major Dormo longer:
Call Major Dormo, then put a fence around his tree house after he leaves it. He will remain with you much longer, but will still eventually disappear.

Hint: Attack a Sim:
Insult a neighbor or your roommate until their name is down to -100. Then, go outside and display the action options (where you can choose to kiss, hug, insult, slap). You should now be able to attack the person. Do this about three times. Your roommate will have had enough and pack up and leave for good.
Allison889306.

Hint: Killing Sims:
If you want to see the Grim Reaper and put a lot of tombstones in your backyard, enter build mode and add a fireplace. Fix up the house somewhat. When prompted to move in a family, create one and make several Sims. Have all of your Sims enter the room with the fireplace and have one of them light it and stand very close. The fire should catch them all if they were close enough. The Grim Reaper should show up to claim the family. Once he does, if there is one Sim remaining have them call the fire department. the Fire should go out and there should be several little tombstones sticking up out of the ash. Enter build mode, grab all of them, and place them in the backyard. If desired, you can add some flowers and other objects. They will become a grave. To get rid of the last Sim, lock them in a room with no windows or doors. They should die in three and a half days. Repeat the grave steps when the Grim Reaper reappears. if you want a very large graveyard, repeat all the steps. Note: This will not be a good home for families, as they will be mourning all the time.
kenny resol.

Note: You can also use the previously described steps to kill Dudley/Mimi. When they die, you will continue the game as usual (no game over). You can also kill your Mom, but you will have to start again from your last save.
NYECHOGIRL.

Get a fireplace and surround it with a lot of flammable objects. Then have a party and invite a lot of people. Light up the fireplace, and it will eventually burn down the house. Note: Leave the house immediately after you light it.
Zachdawak.

Place your Sim in a small room, with about enough room for your Sim, a large number of trash cans, and a fireplace. Put your Sim directly next to the fireplace. Then, put trash cans all around the fireplace. Have your Sim light the fireplace. In about an hour, the trash can will catch on fire and kill your Sim.

Start Play The Sims mode. Once you find a family, do not teach the father how to cook. Make the father cook something and he will accidentally burn his food and start a fire. He will die from burning in the flames. Have a child come out at midnight and you will see the father walking around as a ghost. Look around the house, backyard, or outdoors to see the ghostly parent. Note: Make sure the kids are at school during the fire, and also have the mother there to call the fire department to put the flames out.
Nykid807.

Throw a party. Get all the people in the back yard. Lock them in a fence and wait until they die. After awhile, at night they may appear walking around your house as ghosts.
Johnn Cunningham.

Hint: Ghost Sim:
Use the following trick to turn your home into a haunted house. Kill one or more of your Sims. The best way to do this is to place them in a side room, then remove the doors so they have no place to go. Then, let them die of starvation. The Grim Reaper will appear and they will turn into an ash urn. Keep the urn around and eventually when nightfall arrives, the ghost of the dead Sims(s) will randomly wander around the house, through the walls, and back to its container. If a living Sim comes across the ghost, they will become frightened.

Hint: Keep Sims from talking to each other:
Have your Sims eat different meals (have them both fix their own meals).
iqforu2000.

Hint: Alien abduction:
Buy the telescope and use it for too long. Your Sim will be abducted and disappear. It will reappear some hours later, with different stats.

Hint: Nude Sim:
Note: This is easiest to do in Play The Sims mode. Get a fire place, then buy a rug and place it under the fireplace. Guy the heart shaped spa. Light the fireplace, get in the spa, and wait until there is a fire. Before your Sim gets out and starts jumping around because of the fire, cancel everything but the spa. Wait until the spa burns up. If done correctly, your Sim will appear in another part of room close to the wall, and will not have their clothes on. Note: The censor will still appear.
Jon Lindsey.

Note: When your Sims appear on the screen nude naked after the spa burns down, if you tell them to go to the bathroom while they still have the censor on, the censor will disappear when they are done using the bathroom.

He or she will appear somewhere in the house, and be snoring while awake. Note: Do not call or talk to anyone or it will stop. The Sim can do anything else while snoring.
Ryan Mcdermott.

Hint: Zombie Sim:
Kill a Sim and wait for the Grim Reaper to appear. Plead for his or her life. The Grim Reaper will either ignore your plea, turn your Sim into a Zombie, or revive your Sim. If your Sim was revived, kill him or her again, then try again. The outcome is random. Note: Do not save the game if the Grim Reaper kills your Sim. Reload the game and try again. Zombie Sims do not have any features different from normal Sims other than a green color.

Hint: Regain needs:

Hint: Broken items:
This trick can be one in Get A Life and Play The Sims modes. If something breaks down and your Sim is too depressed to study Mechanics, simply sell it and buy a new one. Note: If fixing the object is one of your goals, this will not work.
sstewart.

Hint: Keep items when bulldozing a house:
Note: Do not select "Bulldoze Lot" from the menu. Buy the house. If you want to save items that must hang on a wall, save part of the dry wall until you have your new house built. Otherwise, sell all windows, doors, floors, and dry wall. Sell any items that you do not want an save the ones that you want. Then, build your house. Note: This does not work if you cannot afford the house.

Use the following trick to max out the Active, Outgoing, Neatness, Niceness, and Playful personality stats. Play in free mode and evict the Tutti family from their home. Then, edit the family. Choose Ginger to edit. Go to the place where you can put in your personality "points". Go to Neatness and the bar will keep moving further when you move it up, even though all of the points have already been used.

If your Sim is having trouble boosting their motives, buy four Aromasters and set them on a table. Set all four scents and it will raise some of your Sim's motives.
ATVrider0529.

Use the following trick to raise your Happiness. Enable the "Cheat gnome" code, then enable the "Extra money" code and collect it. At every house you move to, buy a maid, repairman, and a gardener to keep your house looking nice. Watch out for the repairman though, as he sometimes sneaks off and watches the television. It also helps if you have bought that expensive robot that can do a lot of things like cleaning. This leaves you free to work on your logic.
Adam McKaig.

At the beginning, stay with your mom and complete all goals except getting a job. Then, keep painting and selling them until your Creativity is filled. Then, read about Cooking until it is all filled up. Next, read about Mechanical until it is all filled up. Then, work on Body by buying the weight lifting set until it is all filled. Next, work on Charisma by practicing speech in front of the mirror. Finally, work on Logic by playing chess. Note: every time you get another point in doing these things, go to the bathroom, eat, and watch television in order to remain happy. When everything is filled, sell the things you have bought and move out.
Tigergirl001300.

When you start, do not leave Mom's house. Enable the "Cheat gnome" and "All objects unlocked" codes. Get the most expensive things in the skill building section, then raise all of your motives. Then, go to work.
Horse52152.

Hint: Raising skills:
While living with Mom, do not run out and get a job after you have completed the first few goals. Instead, stay around awhile and use that time to build skills. Mom will nag you, but just select "Okay" and keep doing everything else. Make sure to keep yourself happy and entertain/talk/joke with Mom to keep your relationship up to par. When you have your skills where you want them, move out. This will make things much easier. You will then be able to concentrate on your job and relationships, rather than skill building.
Scarlet.

Notice that when you are at your Mom's house at the beginning, your Sim's energy and social do not go down, and will remain at the halfway point. Using this, you can raise your skills faster. First, have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Then, use the toilet, take a bath, watch television for fun and comfort, then finally work on whatever skill you want. After repeating this routine before having breakfast, lunch, or dinner, clean up the plates. Do not call a maid or anything else, as it is a waste of money. For extra money, do creative skills on your paint set and sell your paintings when done. This will give you a lot of money when you are done with your skills. Do all goals except getting a job. Do not sleep or talk to your mom while doing this. When done with Cooking, Mechanical, Creative, and Charisma, buy a chess table for Logic. When you are done with those skills, sell the chess set (whole refund). Then, buy the weight lifting machine for the Body. When done with all skills, get a job and move out.
Eddie.

While waiting for your baby to become a child, you are not allowed to leave your house. This is a great time for building your skills up, improving your relationships for your career, and doing whatever needs done around the house.

To raise your Body skills much faster, work out on the Rock Climbing Wall. Your Sim will get Body points going up the wall and also when going down the wall.

If you have a lot of stats to improve (for example, 5 Body and 4 Mech), move to your Mom's house and stay there for a while. The bus will not come for work, and you will not get fired. You now have time to raise your stats. Also invite your friends over and keep your relations up if needed. If you get your stats up, keep friends, and stay connected, you can move out in a week (Sim time) or later and continue with your life.
atari888.

In free play mode, create the Sim(s) you are going to use, but only as kids. Move them into any lot. Enter the house, then press Start to save and quit. Next, go back to Free street where you have the family you are going to use and evict them. Then, go to "Edit Family" and edit the kids you created. You can now raise all of their personality points. Make them adults and dress them however desired. Then, move them into a lot where you want them to live. If you look at their skills, they will already have some.
Edgar.

In free play mode, edit Ginger then go to her personal information (Nice, Outgoing, Playful, etc.). You can raise all of her stats without having to take some away, and make her a super Sim.
Ryugamer9.

At the beginning of the game, unlock Club Rubb by doing a goal. When you walk in, there will be a DJ stand. Highlight it and select "Spin" .Your Sim should walk over and start making music. If there are people nearby, they should start "booing" or sticking their tongues out. Keep playing and your creative stats should go up.
TBX911.

To get a full Mechanical skill in one day, buy the Tesla Coil 3.0 and use it. By the next day your Mechanical skill should be full. Note: This works best if you fill all motives with the "Raise motives" code first.
Rusty Shacklferd and biteme595.

Before you begin Bust Out mode and get a job, if you want to fill up all your skills it is best if you do this at Mom's house, You will get unemployed and will not have to worry about your job.
Juonna17.

When in freeplay mode, evict the family with all girls. Delete everyone but Ginger. Then, edit Ginger. When done, make another Sim that is completely new. Your person looks like Ginger, but you can change them. When you set that Sim's Neatness, Outgoing, etc., you can move the bars all the way forward as you would with Ginger. Everyone can have full bars in your family.
scott lloyd.

Hint: Raising relationship:
Use the following trick if your Sims are married with a low relationship. In Free or Bustin Out mode, buy a white love rug and place it in your room . Buy a fireplace and put it in front of it. Then, move your pointer over to the love rug and select "Relax". Select the female Sim, and there should be a suggestion that reads "Join". Select it and your lover will kiss and play on the rug . Your relationship should rise to 106% on the girl you are with, and you to 103%. To make it really romantic, turn on your radio to smooth jazz then light a fire.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Completing all goals:
If you want to complete all the goals (the goals besides getting promoted to) do not fill up all your stats(Body, Cooking, etc.) at the start. This is because you will go through the levels very quickly and will not have time to do the other goals. Instead, at the start just fill Body, because your energy only goes halfway down; and Creative, so you can throw a great party.
Richard Patterson.

Hint: Unlock social options:
To unlock most social options, become friends with the Sims. For example, when you be friends with Randy you will unlock "French Kiss" and with Paisly you could unlock "Spank Booty". Each Sim has there own social option to unlock when you become their family friend.
BxPRPapi191.

Hint: Keeping Social Points up:
When creating a Sim (Bust Out or Free Play mode), remove all Outgoing Points. This has two benefits; more points and your Sim's Social level will decrease at a slower pace. With that done, your Sim will not need to talk to others as much, making it easier for you to keep them happy.
Jita the Renegade.

KURT.

Hint: Making friends:
Invite a friend over, then get into a hot tub, preferably the Love Tub. Then, ask a friend to join you. When he or she gets in, place items around the Love Tub. The Sims will not be able to leave, and will keep talking to each other.
NileLeeCalenbur.

Hint: Keeping friends:
Get married when possible, then instead of getting the friends you need to get a promotion with your Sim, get the friends with the Sim you are married to. The relationship that the Sim you are married to has with other Sims never decreases. You can get friends and not have to worry about keeping them.
kenny collado.

This trick will allow you to advance through careers quickly, and keep friends without a lot of work.To build your skills quickly, enable the "Cheat Gnome" code, get a lot of money, fill all motives, and unlock all objects. Build yourself a room on the side of your mom's room. Fill it only with the stuff you need to build up every single skill. For Body, a Rock Climbing Wall works faster than anything else. After you have built up all of them and maxed them out, get any job desired. You will only have to worry about friends at this point, because you are skilled enough to do anything. To make friends extremely quickly, invite three over at a time. Get them all in a hot tub, and place objects (buy plants if you cannot decide what to use) around the hot tub. If you are not friends with them by the time you must go to work, unblock the corner you are at, get out, then the Cheat Gnome to fill all motives and go to work. No one will climb out because they are still blocked in. When you get home, get back in, and start all over. This is made easier if you have a husband or wife; their friends are your friends, and you can just keep all of them locked up. When you have become friends with three Sims, unblock the tub, and invite three more over. Do not forget to use the Cheat Gnome on your husband or wife when they get out of the tub, or else they will pass out. You only need to keep six friends for the highest level in the careers; do not worry about making more than that.
Johnny'sAngel.

Hint: Angry roommate or family member:
Live in a house with a roommate have your friendship not good. Enable the "Cheat gnome" and "All socials unlocked" codes . Select your roommate and scroll down to the list of suggestions until you find "Use Sign Language". Select it, and you will hear bleeping while your Sim flips off their roomate. They will get mad and slap or insult you.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Having a baby:
Your Sims must be married and the Love Bed must be unlocked. Pick your female Sim and tell her to "Sleep". Then, bring the male Sim and tell him to "Play In Bed". After you finish, kiss her and you will be asked if you would like to have a baby. Note: Your relationship must be 100%.
Mazen disclosed.

If you need to have a baby as part of a goal, in free play mode make a family with just a male (if playing a female) or a female (if playing a male). Then, make them have a child. Save them, then move them in on 3 Free Street. Build a small nice house then go back under your Sim that need to do this goal. Have him or her get in love and then marry. Make sure this is the last goal that you need.. This way, you can just move out and move on with the game. When you move in with the next family and view your goals, "Get married" and "Raise a baby to child" will be already be checked.
Amanda.

Use the following trick to have a baby on a low budget. If you have not unlocked the Vibrating Bed, use this instead. Tell your Sim to call your mate over. Then give them a gift, kiss them, hug them, then kiss them again. You have to do this immediately. That means they must be lined up at the top. You can do this without being married. Your Friendship meter must be high.
Kttnztalz4.

When you have a baby, it is difficult to take care of because you need to be in the house all the time. You will have to skip work until the baby is grown. Pay attention to it constantly. The moment you hear it cry, abort everything and run to it instantly. When they cry, feed it, then sing to it. When it cries, try to avoid playing with it to stop the crying. The crying will most likely just get worse. If you are feeding, playing, or singing to the baby and it starts to cry, press B immediately and abort that. If you let it cry, social services will give one warning before taking it away if it cries for thirty game minutes or longer. Also, try to avoid letting other Sims that you are not controlling make contact with the baby. Most likely they will pick it up and play with it, which usually causes it to cry. In about three game days, the baby will become a child. You must still watch the child closely. If he or she receives bad grades, social services could take away the child. Social services does not take away teenagers however; do not worry about them when they get to be teens.

In Free or Bustin Out mode, have a Love Bed and a spouse/partner. Chose the Love Bed and scroll down the list of suggestions and select "Vibrate". Your Sim will take off their clothes and crawl into bed. Then, click on their partner, scroll down the list of suggestions, and choose "Play In Bed". The partner will take off their clothes and also crawl in bed. You will hear your Sim bark or howl.
AngeGarga.

In Free Play mode, create two Sims (a male and female). When the game starts, enable the "Unlock all socials" code. Start to do the Moon Walk and do things with the other Sim. When you get the option to flirt, do so. Start spanking and French kissing them. When it is at 100% love, do not stop. A message asking if you want to have a baby will appear. Alternately, get 100% love then play in a Love Bed. The phone will ring. Answer it, and you will asked if you want to adopt a baby.
Amber M.

In free play mode, control a Sim female and mail. Talk until you like each other at 90, then kiss until it is 100. You will be asked if would you like to have a baby. Playing with the baby does nothing. If it cries, feed it then sing a song. Do not let it cry for too long. You will get one warning, then the social worker will take it away. Make a room with a bed and move the cradle beside it. Make another room with a bed for the other Sim to sleep in. By doing this, only one Sim will wake up. Take turns every night. During the day, put the baby in the living room. If it cries while in the living room, cancel whatever you are doing and see to its needs. Take turns seeing to its needs.
steven turner.

Hint: Raising a baby:
Every time the baby cries, use one Sim to feed, play, and sing to it, in that order. Let one Sim go to sleep at night. The baby might cry once. Note: Make sure that one Sim is awake and one is asleep. Let the parent that is sleeping wake up. Then, send one Sim to take care of the baby. After that, let the parent that did not sleep, fall asleep. While one sleeps, get the other's motives up. Keep switching off until the baby becomes a child. It only takes three Sim days for a baby to become a child.
HalfpintSnug.

Taking care of the baby may seem difficult, but it is not. Watch the cradle, and when it starts crying pause game play. Select "Buy", then move the cradle as close as possible to a Sim. Resume the game and choose "Feed". Then, sing to it (in that order). The baby will grow up.
Amber M.

Hint: Ditch baby:
After getting a baby, select the car and pick "Move Out".
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Never lose baby:
If both of your Sims leave the room that your baby is in, press Start and go to buy/build mode. Move the cradle to one of the rooms that your Sim is in. This works better if the cradle is near the Sim. If outside, put it near the Sim.
75scampbell.

Hint: Jock career:
To successfully complete the Jock career, you need to have all Body points, 4 Cooking points, and 5 Charisma points. You will also need six friends. A quick way to complete this is go to Mom's house and buy something to work your body (for example, a treadmill, pool, etc.);a bookshelf or something similar to the gourmet cooking stove; and something for your charisma (for example, a microphone or a mirror). Do that, then build your skills and move to the different houses so you can complete a goal and unlock something. You will eventually get to Malcolm's mansion.
Dragonslave2191.

Hint: Recommended careers:
To complete the game much faster and easier, start it with the Mad Scientist career. Work on your Mechanical and some Body skills, then after completing that career, get a new job in the Counter Culture career. Work on your Cooking and Charisma skills. While doing these careers, you can stock up on the "important" skills. For example, you must work on your Mechanical and some body Skills in the Mad Scientist career so you can get full bars for those, full bars of Cooking for the Counter Culture career, and Charisma for both.
KrazyKyle199102.

The best career choice is the Jock career, because at the final promotion, you only need six friends. Also, Jocks make good money.
Anna.

Hint: Promotions:
Find a job at Mom's house. The pop up box will say something similar to The bus will pick you up at Mimi's house at 8:00". You must move there on the scooter. Go to work in a good mood. You should get promoted the first time you go to work. Next, check on the job box at the bottom of the screen (press the right arrow). Complete the skill points overnight, then get them into a good mood ready for work the next day. If you really want them to be promoted for the next day, then try taking a day off work (do not bother going). Keep doing this for every promotion. Eventually you should move from one home to another. Note: This may not always work -- you might need family friends as well.
steve.

Hint: Skipping work:
In Bustin' Out mode, you can skip work by moving back into Mom's house. While you live with Mom, the bus will not arrive, and you do not have to work. This is useful if things are not going so well and you need some time to "restore" your Sim.
Sebuzzie.

In Bustin' Out mode, you can skip work by changing jobs before the bus arrives. Later, you can just change back to your old job. This is useful if you are about to get fired. Note: You will only get fired if you skip work two or three times in a row.
Sebuzzie.

It is easy to lose your job when you do not go to work for two or three days. When this happens you will get a phone call saying that you have been fired. Even if you do not answer the phone, a message will appear stating that you lost your job. Your Sim will be unemployed, but it will not be the end of the game. Getting fired gives you a chance to raise your Sim's motives, build some missing skills, or make more friends to help you advance in your career when you start your job again. However, when you get your job back you must start at the same slot that you were before. This means you are going to have to work hard again to get promoted and be able to move out.
simeon arzaga.

In the Bustin Out mode, if you have unlocked every visit location you can go anywhere. Go to someone's house and visit them as long as desired. When message stating that the bus arrives in two hours appears, ignore it and continue what you are doing and miss work. There will be no phone call or warning. You can roam around anytime as long as desired, and visit anyone.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Never work:
In Bustin' Out mode, the people who you live with (who you can control) cannot get fired. If you want them to stay home, just let them. This can be very useful if you need them to clean up, or need them to do some other things.
Sebuzzie.

If you do not want to keep a job, use this strategy. Stay with your mom to raise your skills then get a job. Make sure that you raise Creativity, Mechanical, and Cooking (slightly), because those are most important skills. Get a job, and if desired, get promotions to unlock places. When you get to a place that you think would suit you do not go to work. You will lose your job and perhaps a skill point, but you will keep playing. Since you already unlocked the places, you may now work on the necessary things. If your creativity and mechanical are at 10 (Logic also) you can make gnomes, sculptures, and mutant plants that will help you gain money. Once you have full skills in everything, work on making friends. Then, get a job and complete the other goals. This will enable you to unlock everything.
David W.

Hint: Never sleep:
Enable the "Cheat Gnome" and "Raise motives" codes. Select the Cheat Gnome and choose the "Fill all motives" cheat. Repeat as needed. You will then never actually "have" to sleep.
emily.

Hint: Live alone:
Use the following trick if you want to take the day off and control another Sim, and do not want to mess with it. When your roommates go to work, leave and return after the time they come back from work. You will be able to live alone. Alternately, you can build a small room in the back yard, with a door. Go into it, call the other person over, and leave once they get there. Then, go to build mode and delete the door.
wesley whisnant.

Hint: Catch a robber:
Enable the "All objects unlocked" code. Buy a motion sensor alarm and place at your front door on the wall. If you have a backdoor, do same thing there. This security costs only 300 Simoleons, instead of buying walls at the corner of your street and putting burglar alarms there.
ZeratulX100.

Build a wall at each corner of the map that a burglar can approach from and place a burglar alarm at every wall. The burglar will be caught before entering the house.
Anneli Kristensen.

When you first move in to someone's house, buy the Sims home alarm systems and put them on both sides of the doors, outside. This will stop the robbers from getting anywhere near your possessions.
IamBender111.

Hint: Get rid of annoying Mom:
At the beginning of Busting' Out mode, you will start out living with Mom. She will keep talking and say things like "What did I do to deserve this?" or "When are you going to find a job?" She will keep saying things and will not allow you to play without interruptions. To avoid this, Enable the "All socials unlocked" code, then take your Mom to the back of her house. Hypnotize her, walk away, then put a wall around her. That will take care of her. However, when you move out she will wake up. You must take her somewhere quiet so that if you make noise with a radio or television she will not wake up.
x3Edgarx3.

Hint: Get a bigger room:
When at Dudley's trailer, go to the master bedroom. Then, sell the door that leads to the smaller room so that there is just a wall. Next, make a door at the top right corner so that there is a place you could walk into the smaller room. Then, decorate both rooms' wallpaper and carpet to be the same and you will have a bigger room.
Asaints8.

Hint: Getting married:
Make a meal, then call your potential mate over. Sit down and eat with them. When you are done, let him or her use the bathroom. While they are doing that, watch TV then have him or her join you. When they get up, propose.
GLENN G TEASLEY.

Eat dinner with someone. They will use the bathroom. While they are in there, watch television. When they leave, highlight them and the "Propose" option should appear. You can also have a baby with this person by getting the Love Tub. Mimi or Dudley are the best choices, because they will pay all the bills.
Sonicshadow44.

When you get the "Propose" social, serve a meal. Invite your lover over and have them get a plate of food. They will go to the restroom then go swimming. When they get out, propose. Note: You must have a pool before they get to your house.
terry fluke.

In order to get married you need to do th following things: serve food, then watch the nine screen television and an expensive three seat couch. Your mate should be in a good mood at a high relationship with you to propose. If not, talk and cheer them up. You cannot get married to Mimi, Maxine, Mom, etc. Try 1st Street, 2nd Street and 3rd Street.
holly kanyok.

First, serve dinner. Then, let them go to the bathroom. Watch television with them. As soon as they get up, kiss them. Then, propose. They will say yes about 95% of the time. Note: You must have a 100 relationship with them, and the kiss must be serious and not like a little kiss on the cheek.
Kurt.

Because you must marry a Free street, if you do not like their personality or clothes, evict them in freeplay mode then change them. Note: You will also have to remake their house. If you try this with Ginger, before you do anything with her, fill up all her stats (glitch and she will like anything). When you now want to get married to her, she will never stay long enough so you can propose. Her fun will go up and she will leave. Make sure your relationship is at 100 and feed her, dance twice, then propose.
Kyle Kowalsky.

Hint: Raising a baby:
When you have a baby, do not play with it ever, as it does nothing. If you feed it then sing, it will stop crying for a couple of hours.
Dragonslave2191.

Hint: Alien abduction:
Buy the telescope and use it until you get two skill points. Your Sim will be abducted and disappear. It will reappear some hours later, with different stats.
Falcons1036.

Hint: Aromaster:
Use the following trick to never have to fix a broken Aromaster. Save the game before you turn it on. If it breaks, quit the game without saving and resume from your saved game. Instead of turning it on again, sell it then buy it again.
Doctor Wright.

Hint: Limo:
To unlock the limo easily, buy 3 of the 9 screen television. You will unlock the rare limo.
Watt Up.

Hint: Rocket Gnomes:
To be able to make Rocket Gnomes, you must have an Inventor's Workbench and Mech skills at 8 or higher.
Hannamrobert.

Hint: Anti-War Protesters:
While living at the Pentagon, you must stop the protesters. Go to Club Rubb and wait until Mona or Bing call and invite everyone to the party. After Mona or Bing says, "Let's get this party started. We need to raise funds for the antiwar fund", attack either Mona or Bing. This should unlock the Toy Parrot.
skitty0623.

Hint: Contaminating sports at Shiny Things Labs:
To find out where contaminating spores are coming from when living at Shiny Things Labs, visit the Goth Manor and steal a fern. This will unlock the Giant Fern.
MaryAnn.

Hint: Daydream Sequence:
At the beginning of the game, you will be standing in a place where people are dancing and music is playing. All of a sudden, a puff of smoke will appear. A Sim of the opposite sex will appear from the smoke. A message will appear, stating something about kissing the Sim that just appeared on the cheek. The Sim you are supposed to kiss will whistle at you, trying to get you to kiss him or her. Your Sim does not kiss the other Sim automatically. If you do not want to kiss the Sim, press R to speed up time. More messages will appear about kissing the sim or stating that the daydream will be over soon. After a few quick minutes in the game, another puff of smoke appears. This time, your mom appears from the smoke. She will ask you to stop daydreaming and say that Malcolm is taking your scooter. After that happens, the daydream ends and you begin the game. Also, during the "Daydream Sequence" if you do not want to be near the Sim you have to kiss, move away by using the "Go Here" queue. However, when you move, the other Sim will just follow you. Note: When you are in the "Daydream Sequence", you cannot interact with anything. The only thing you can interact with is the Sim you must kiss.
simeon arzaga.

Hint: Eliminating Senator Landgrabb:
To eliminate Malcolm, you invite him over while you are raising a child. Keep him around until your baby cries.
brian dowd.

Buy a wall or fence and trap him until he gives up.
Kngb91.

To eliminate Senator Landgrabb (Malcolm), invite him over to your house. Program "Miss Gyrotic" for Defense and she will attack Malcolm, causing him to go frantic and give you 5,000 Simoleons. Note: Your Mech skills should be 8 or higher.
Kitana Ash.

Hint: Finding the Goth's fern:
In order to get the Goth's fern back, you must be living in the Goth's house. Then, visit Dudley's house. When you go to the very back of his house you will see and old broken down car, and a fern that is close to it. Select the fern and choose the "Steal Fern" option. A window will appear, and Dudley will tell you that he was just borrowing the fern. Go back to the Goth's house and a window will appear, with Bella saying something about how it figures that it was Dudley who took the fern.
Veronicabbe.

Hint: Finding the Sci-Fi script:
Go to the Shiny Things lab and talk to the brain in the jar.
GLENN G TEASLEY.

Hint: Finding a neighbor with candelabras:
To find the candelabras, enable all the social options. Do Romantic Kiss on Mortimer if your Sim is female or your wife if your Sim is male.
GLENN G TEASLEY.

To unlock the candelabras, visit Goth Manor. Wait until either Mortimor or Bella mention the candelabras, getting them into a romantic mood and about a kiss. Whoever mentions it, make sure to kiss them romantically. Note: Make sure that the "Kiss Romantically" social is unlocked.
Kitana Ash.

Hint: Malcolm's big movie:
While you are living at Tinsel Bluffs, invite Malcolm over and make food. When he is done eating, socialize with him until he is your friend. Then, throw a party. After everyone arrives, go into the room with the guitar and play it. Malcolm will eventually come in and listen. When he does this, stop playing. Select Malcom and choose "Ask for movie role". He should accept.
Tinkrow2.

First, make sure to make some food. Invite Malcolm over after you are done, as well as throwing a party while he is there. Before he arrives, have someone with 8 or higher Creativity skill points play the guitar as well as have yourself sing. When Malcolm reaches the room, stop singing and ask him about the movie role.
Kitana Ash.

Hint: Framing Malcolm at Pixel Acres:
You first need to unlock the Synthesizer and the Pixel Booty Song. Then, move into Pixel Acres. Buy a Synthesizer, make food, throw a party, and invite Malcolm over. Then, play the Pixel Booty Song on the Synthesizer. A cop should appear from the bushes and arrest Malcolm.
Ssieralynny.

Note: When playing the Pixel Booty song on the Synthesizer with full creative points, all Sims on the screen will take off their clothes.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Kill Chase at Pixel Acres:
At Pixel Acres it is possible to kill Chase. Do this by buying the most expensive fireplace, and putting two wooden crates next to it. Note: Put the fire at the back of Pixel Acres, where the waterfall thing is located. Have Chase light a fire. The fire should spread, eventually killing Chase. When you move back, you may hear a strange noise, and a message may appear stating, "I'm OK...Are you OK?". Then, Chase may start walking around. You will hear noises every so often.
Sjbyres.

Hint: Getting the Pixel Booty Song:
Go to Goth Manor and play the synthesizer. You accomplish two goals, which are "Find out the Ghost problem" and "Getting the Pixel Booty Song".

Hint: Score a red pool table:
When you are living at Tinsel Bluffs, visit Club Rubb and play pool with Bing. This will unlock the pool table.
sieralynny.

Hint: Play air hockey with pizza man:
If you have an Air Hockey Table and a child, have the child play air hockey then get a different Sim to order a pizza. Switch back to the child and when the pizza arrives, select the pizza deliveryman. The option "Join" will appear. Select it and he will come over and play air hockey.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Pet repair man:
To get a pet repair man you must have unlocked the last television with nine screens. Buy it and the most expensive three seater couch. Turn the television on and then hire a repairman. When he arrives, he should fix the lights and things, then steal a snack and sit down to watch television. He will not go away until you turn off the television. Note: This will keep boosting his bill.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Find and shut down the hackers:
At The Octagon, visit the Shiny Things Lab and select the first computer at the front of the lab. Select "Steal Computer" and it will confirm that the mission is complete.
Dustin Harris.

dejaxson.

Hint: Find someone interested in Chase's secret formula:
While living at Pixel Acres, visit Shiny Things Lab and use the "Tell Secrets" interaction on Makino or Vaughn.
dejaxson.

Hint: Making sure Mimi's OK:
Go to Mimi's house. She will tell you that she has made a mess around the house and for you to clean up. Then she will tell you a secret. Once you have picked up all the mess you should be rewarded with a car.
GLENN G TEASLEY.

When you live with Mimi, make sure to hire the maid to come everyday before you move out. When you are living at Studio 8, skip work one day and visit Mimi to clean up her mess. Normally, this would seem nearly impossible to do in one visit. However if the maid is there, she will clean most of it for you, and you will still get the car as a reward.
sugarpie_honeybun2.

Hint: Cleaning up Dudley's place:
This will be one of your goals when you move into Dudley's trailer. if you have unlocked maid, order her to do it for you. When the maid is done but the trailer is still dirty, you order the maid again if you have the money.
SNOOP DOGGY 93827565 4 EVER!.

Hint: Get through Dudley's party:
When you are staying at the gym your roommates will want you to go over Dudley's Trailer to party. Move out of the gym and move in with Dudley. While you are there, serve breakfast/lunch/dinner and have Dudley order pizza. Then, move out of his house and back into the gym. When you visit Dudley's Trailer, food will be already laid out on the table. Before you move out of Dudley's Trailer, buy a bigger table and lots of chairs to seat the guests. Then when you visit Dudley's Trailer for the party, eat and talk to at least five party guests to make your relationship with them above five points. If this does not work, talk to more guest or see if your relationship went down by some points.
Doctor Wright.

Hint: Get through the Rocket Gnome party:
At Shiny Things Lab, you will need all Mechanical skills. Then, make five Rocket Gnomes. Put them all outside then launch all five.
PlayaBoy312.

Hint: Throw the ultimate DJ dance party:
All you need is the dance floor. Have one person spin on the DJ Booth and another person dance on the floor. Then, have that person ask everyone, but the person who is spinning, to join in the dancing. It will take about fifteen minutes in Sim time. You will unlock the Q3 Recliner.
Lindsay.

To throw the ultimate DJ dance Party at Club Rubb, select the phone and go all the way to the bottom to "Throw Party". When your guests arrive, in about thirty seconds, one of the Sims will say something. After that, choose the DJ Booth and "Spin". Then the Sim who said something before will say, "Club Rubb is Da Booommmmbbbbbb!". It will confirm that the goal is complete.
Hatchstannes.

To throw the ultimate DJ dance party while living at Club Rubb, you must have somebody with 8 or more Creativity. "Spin" on the DJ stand and get five people dancing at the same time. To do this, raise your Creativity skill, "spin" at the DJ stand, then switch to Mona or Bing and have them dance at the dance floor. Then, select all the guests and choose "Join". PlayaBoy312.

Hint: Show off some Club Rubb moves at Studio 8:
Enable the "Raise motives" code, then go to the car and select "Visit". Then, select "Studio 8". When you are at Studio 8 go to someone and select "Breakdance". Ssieralynny.

Hint: Throw an art opening:
When you move to Studio 8, one of the goals is to throw an art opening. In order for the art opening to be successful, you have to purchase a Sculpting Block and sculpt it first. Then, have the party and it will be successful. However, before you can purchase the Sculpting Block, you must complete the goal that will give you access to it.
ADTS.

Bring all the art and sculptures from out back into the studio. Arrange them however desired, then buy a cooler in buy mode (miscellaneous). Go to phone and throw a party.
YvnSTEVE.

A very easy way to make the art opening successful at "Studio 8" is to delete one section (square) of the wall that separates the art room from the kitchen. You will even made a few Simoleons in the process.
Funwhendy7.

In order to throw an art opening in Studio 8 you need to let Charity sculpt either before or during the party.
john white.

Enable the "All objects" code. Buy a dance floor and put a stereo by it. Then, buy a sculpting block and put it in the art room. Next, have your Sims throw a party. This should be an easy and successful way to throw an art opening.
ler.

During your stay at Studio 8, you must throw an art opening to complete a goal. To properly throw one, there are two ways to do it. You can either complete the goal that gets you the sculpting block, and sculpt that first; or you could rearrange the art, then pick up the phone and scroll down to ""Throw Party."
kobeskid2007.

When you are ready to host an opening, buy a Sculptor's Block and place it in the reading room (right of the foyer). Do nothing to it; not even rearrange any art. Then "Clean up" all of the food. You do not want your guest to pass the art room up for food. Next, enter Buy mode and go to "Electronics". Buy the HellaGraphix 1024 "Diamond Edition". Place it in The art room (left of the foyer). Put it on the far left of the room or your guests will block the entry ways while playing the game. Then, go to the phone and choose "Throw a party". Immediately go to the HellaGraphix and choose "Play". Do not waste any time asking Artie and Charity to "Join". This is so neither of them will make any food. Made sure that Charity, Artie and your Sim are playing as the guests arrived. One by one as they arrive (you do not have to wait for them to ring the doorbell), select them (yellow circle). You will be given two options "Join" or "Greet". Ask each guest to "Join" upon arrival. By doing this, nobody will wait at the door to be greeted, and they will immediately come in and join the game. After your last guest enters and begins playing, a message from Charity will appear. It will say the this is an "Astounding Party" and your goal is now complete.
Tawn313.

Hint: Help with outsider art:
This is a Casa Caliente mission. Just go to Studio 8 and use the easel to paint a picture.
dejaxson.

Hint: Mission Classified: Eliminate Senator Landgrabb:
First, you need to be at The Octagon. Make sure you have the Miss Gyrotic (obtained after you unlock it at the skill building menu at the buy/build menu). Go to the phone and call Malcolm over. Once he is there, go to the Miss Gyrotic and program it for defense. The robot will appear and go after Malcolm.
UrPnAyPrNcEsS.

Delete one wall in your room then put in a hot tub. Then, close up the wall.
TomLarConn.

Hint: Kinetic Gnome and Flamingo limit:
When your Creativity bar has reached its peak, use the workbench with the tank on it to build Kinetic Gnome and Flamingos. However, after you have built a certain amount, you will not be able to select it again. Either sell or launch them to build more.
jess.

Hint: Change scooter color:
If you do not like the color of the scooter that is given to you, select the scooter and choose "Repaint". Your scooter color will change.
Makinbacon0125.

Hint: Avoid cooking:
You do not have to spend time cooking and not get anything else done. Its better not to waste your time and waste your roommates. Everybody that you live with should be a better cook, no matter who much you raise the stat. Just let them get hungry and they will cook for you and any other person there.
DgBone6.

Hint: Easy money:
When you go to a house and do not have much money, trade in all the wallpaper and buy the cheap version. You can get a good amount of money. You can do the same thing with the tile.
Robert Dalton.

When you move into a house, sell all the wallpaper and tiles. Then, change the tiles to grass and the wallpaper to nothing.
Sam petryszak.

Instead of working, you can get a workbench from the "Building Skills" section in buy mode. When your Mechanical skill is at its best, you will get 100 Simoleons for each gnome you make. It only takes about five seconds to make each gnome, and you can make about thirteen gnomes at once. Note: Your Sim will only make gnomes when in a good mood.
RedCarrera4S.

To get lots of money, enter buy mode and sell the paintings. Some of them are worth a couple thousand Simoleons.
Dragonslave2191.

When you get the Tesla Coil, go on it and wait until it gives off an electric bolt. Then, go to the Build/Buy menu. Select and sell the electric bolt for 50 Simoleons.
G Foad.

When you move out of a house (for example, Dudley's Trailer) sell all of his stuff except the toilet, shower, bed, and refrigerator. The Sim will survive, and you will make a lot of money.
DDucky180.

When at Mom's House, Mimi's Place, or Dudley's Trailer, buy things until your profit goes below 100 Simoleons. Wait about an hour. You will get a phone call and receive free money. Repeat this as necessary. Then, before you move out, sell everything that you bought. You will then end up leaving with more money than you started with.
JustTweety11.

Note: This trick requires a Game Boy Advance and a link cable. During game play, plug the Game Boy Advance into the Gamecube and turn it on. You will unlock the game cabinet. With the Game Boy Advance still linked and on, click on the game cabinet and play one of the games. The game that gives you the most money is Petri Dish. Note: While playing the game do not fast forward time or press Start on the Game Boy Advanced; also, after you have finished the game do not turn off the Game Boy Advance. After you finish the game, your Sim will act as if he or she just won, and you will gain the number of Simoleons you acquired. You can get more money doing by this rather than going to work.
Joey L.

Buy the mechanical object that costs the most money. When you produce a ball of Blue Lightning, pause game play and go to buy mode. Then, sell it for 50 Simoleons.
puddin1190.

When you move into a new house, Malcolm always comes in and steals his items back and you can do the same thing. Once moved into the house, press Start and go to the "Buy" section. Flick the C-stick and the game will allow you to move items that are already within the house. Once you select an item, an icon that reads "Sell" will appear. Select "Sell" and the selling price will be added to your account. You can sell everything in the house and the tenants will not get mad. Make sure you leave essential things such as bed, bathroom, kitchen items ,etc. or the tenants will get mad. When you leave, the people will not ask for money back. Continue to sell all your friend's items for free money. Note: When you get to Malcolm's Mansion, he runs off, and you own the mansion, sell all his items and you will have a little over 70,000 Simoleons in your account.

If you want to buy things without actually losing money, go to buy mode, buy whatever desired, place what you bought wherever you want it to be, then select your vehicle and choose "Move out".T he residents of the place you are at will pay you back for whatever you bought. Move to any random place, then move back to where you originally were. You can keep doing this many times as desired. Note: You still need enough money to buy the item -- this trick just lets you get your money back while keeping the item. This of course does not work on other expenditures, such as food, money, and bills.

This trick works in both Busting Out and Free Play modes. Go into buy mode with the walls. Take the black fence and put it on both sides of the door. Then, have a Sim walk in or out the door. Go back into buy mode while they are still walking out. Pick that fence again and tear it down. You will get 80 Simoleons for the first three to five times. After that, it is only worth only 20 Simoleons. This may be done as many times as desired.

At the beginning when you move into any house, find Malcolm. Wait until he is outside. Pause game play and build a gate around him. After awhile he should give you money.
Johnn Cunningham.

When you want to move out of someone's house and you have purchased everything to the very last Simoleon, you normally must pay back what you have left to the owner. To avoid doing this, move out when all the people have gone to work.

First, make two single families (opposite gender). Have the girl live on 1st Street, and the boy on 2nd Street. Make the boy on 2nd Street have just a wall with a telephone. Then, switch to the girl and play as her. Build a house and wait until the boy comes over. Become friends with him and fall in love. Get married and you will have an extra 20,000 Simoleons in your pocket. Buy the diving board with no swimming pool underneath. Have either the boy or girl jump off it about ten times. When that Sim is dead, either sell or place his or her grave. To get even more money, repeat the process, but this time make the same gender of the person you killed live on the street with the wall and telephone. This trick is useful until you max out your buy and build.

Move a family of one to four (recommended) Sims into any house on Free Street. Then, either give them just a phone in their house or fill it with objects. Then, move two families of four Sims into the empty houses on Free Street. Make friends with everyone who lives on Free Street. Finally, evict a family and look at their money. It will be a lot more.

Hint: Easy house improvements:
When you are trying to improve a house, upgrade everything to the highest possible level. If you run out of money, move out (they will repay you), then move back in. This will upgrade the house so that your Sim can live comfortably and you will not lose any money.
Nick.

Hint: Easy car:
When you are at Casa Calenta, Club Rub, or any of the places that have the goal "Get Married", when creating the Sim you will marry, have him or her bring a child along. By doing this, when you get to Malcolm's Mansion you will unlock a car without working for it.
Jaycee Stewart.

Hint: Easy game:
At the beginning of the game, fill all your skills at Mom's house to 100%, then get a job (preferably one that makes a lot of money) and move - out. When you arrive enable the "Cheat gnome" code. Every time your Sim gets a unhappy, use enable the "Fill all motives". You now have all the time needed to make friends and complete goals.
Cassandra Smith.

Hint: Mirror reaction:
When creating your Sim in a new game (Bustin' Out mode) or creating a family (Free Play mode), rotate your Sim until he or she is facing directly at the mirror behind them. Once done, your Sim (if a male) will bend down to the mirror, take his hand, and rub his chin smiling. If it is a female, she will turn her body sideways and look at herself in the mirror.
KrazyKyle199102.

Hint: Triple time:
To make time go by faster than "double time" (from pressing R) when sleeping, control another Sim in the house and make them go to sleep. If both Sims are sleeping, time will go by much quicker.
sugarpie_honeybun2.

Hint: Throw a great swimming pool party:
In any mode, buy a swimming pool and a high diving board to go over it. Then, throw a party. Barbecue some hamburgers and have a blue drink cooler.. Once the party starts, put on some music. Hint: Changing personality when creating your Sim:
When your changing your Sims personality, they will give you a little demonstration of how they would react to other Sims. For example, if you change their personality of a girl Sim and you select "Active", she will jump and dance as Mimi does on a "Bounce My Booty Dance Floor" at a party.
KrazyKyle199102.

Hint: Kill Chase:
When living at Pixel Acres, it is possible to kill Chase. It is very similar to killing maids and friends, though it only rarely works.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Quickly kill Sims:
Purchase a high diving board in free play mode. You do not have to place it over the pool. Position it over the patio. The Sims will jump onto the tile and smack their face into the ground. If you purchase a glass coffee table, you can place it under the diving board. When the Sim jumps from the diving board, they will do a face plant into the glass table and immediately die. The Grim Reaper will not even appear; they will just turn into a tombstone.
robin prosser.

Hint: Kill Sims with mutant plant:
Buy an Incubator from the skill point raising items in buy mode. Then, have your Sim incubate a mutant plant. Next, feed and water the mutant plant until it grows then stop watering it. If you watch it, the plant will eventually get hungry and thirsty (a thought bubble will appear above it). Wait about a day longer then have your Sim stand in front of the plant. If the plant is hungry enough, it will either attack your Sim or eat your Sim whole.
Romigfamily.

To feed the mutant plant with friends or a Maid, you will need an incubator and fully grown mutant. When you have a fully grown mutant, do not water it for four days or until it attacks people. Make sure you have hired a maid or invited a friend to your house. The maid or friend should go over and get eaten by the mutant. A grave and message will appear.
Anne Ingram.

When living in a house in free mode, incubate a mutant plant and wait until it grows to be as big as possible. Then, throw a party. Cook food or barbecue hamburgers. When the guest Sims go to the bathroom, press Start and place the mutant plant in the bathroom that they are in. Then, take the door away, sell it, or put it somewhere else.. Your mutant plant will eat your guests.. Note: The mutant only eats one Sim at a time . Gravestones should appear.
matthew gargano.

Hint: Kill mutants:
To kill mutants instantly, you need an incubator and a grave or news paper. Buy an incubator. Once you have a paper or grave, put it on the incubator where the mutants are. Then have your Sim select the incubator and make them incubate. A mutant should start forming. When the mutant is made, it should fuse with the paper or grave, then disappear.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Kill Sims with fire:
In free play mode, when you have a grill, place wooden chairs and a wooden table near it. Then, have one of the Sims cook on the grill (or more if it does not work). A fire will start. Have your Sim move toward the flames. If you want to see a show, do not call the fire department or extinguish the fire. Your Sim will then start to burn with the other Sims around watching screaming and crying in terror. The body will collapse to the ground. The grim reaper will appear and walk to the body. The body will turn into a tomb stone and remains there until you sell it.
~the black rose~.

Buy a fireplace and place it in an empty room. Buy some of the crates in buy mode and surround the fireplace with them, but leave a path way leading to the fireplace. Tell a Sim to light the fire. Once they get in the room, sell the door. After the fire is lit, tell the Sim to go to a location in the corner where there are no crates. Then, put more crates in the pathway and in a few seconds the crates will catch fire, and so will the Sim. Also, if you have a fireplace in your living room that you do not want to catch on fire, do not put a rug or a table next to it.
Brooke.

To kill a Sim with a fire, build an empty room outside the house. Then, make a door for the room. Put your Sim in there then call over the Sim you want to kill (unless it is one you can control). Then, go outside and press Start. Before you do anything else, remove the door and buy a lot of chairs to put around the room. Make sure there is enough space in the room for the Sim and a fireplace. Then, buy a fireplace and place it outside the house. Light a fire, then press Start again. Move the fireplace inside the house. The chairs should catch on fire momentarily with the Sim in the house. The Sim will catch on fire. It will scream for a few Sim minutes, then die.

Hint: Injured Sim:
Buy the Official Diving Platform and place it on the ground. Do not put a pool under the diving board. Make your Sim do a swan dive, back flip, or a triple flip. He or she will land on their head and begin to rub it and groan. Note: Your Sim cannot die from this.
LaRaePHCO.

Hint: Torture Sim:
Buy some walls and a Bug Lamp. Make a small box, big enough to fit your Sim and the Bug Lamp. Make him or her turn it on. Then, make him or her touch it. They will fall down and scream.
gettbackackerz.

Hint: Ghost maid:
Kill the maid in any way possible, then select the phone and hire another maid. The new maid will be a ghost, and can now walk through walls and clean your house faster.
Anne Ingram.

Hint: Ghost child:
In Free mode, get a wife and kids. Take one or two of your children and place them in a room with no doors . Wait for your child to starve to death. After he or she dies, place the gravestone in the backyard by a dead tree and flower bush. Put the dead tree on the side of the gravestone and the flower bush in front of the gravestone. Wait until the next night. After midnight, you will hear strange music. You will then see your ghost child. He or she will be making scary noises. Sometimes your television will turn on by itself. He or she will walk around the house until 6:30 a.m., then disappear. This will continue on every other night, unless you sell the gravestone, dead tree, and flower bush.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Make your house haunted:
Create a family of four. Choose two Sims that you do not like and buy a high diving board with no swimming pool. Place the diving board over a glass coffee table in buy mode. Select one of the Sims then click the diving board and scroll down the list of suggestions. Select "Swan Dive", "Back Flips" or "Double Flip". Your Sim will jump and die . Repeat this with another Sim. After they both die, place the gravestones next to a dead tree and a flower bush in front of the stones. The next night, you will hear strange music and see the ghost Sims you just killed walking around the house, making scary noises. This will go on every other night until you sell the gravestones, dead tree, and flower bushes. You can repeat this to get more ghosts.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Contact the dead:
Note: Before doing this you must have your house haunted. It must also be dark as well . In Free or Bustin' Out mode, go to buy mode. Then, go into "Miscellaneous" and look for the Seance Table. Buy and place it in a fun room or the living room. Next, buy a chair or two . Then, choose a Sim and select the Seance Table. Choose "Contact The Dead". Your Sim will go into a trance when he or she starts it . After about two seconds, you will hear strange music. You will then see the ghosts that are haunting your house. After completing the seance, a message will appear on the screen indicating that you have exorcised the ghosts and that they will rest in peace. Note: This can also be done at Goth's Manor to get rid of the ghosts and complete the goal.
AngeGarga.

Hint: Avoiding fires:
Sell the range and buy a microwave.

Enter the options, then go to "Free Will" and turn it off. By doing this, you can tell your Sims to go do something else or call the fire department.

Hint Moving objects other than furniture:
Use the following trick when newspapers, or sometimes empty plates are in your way. Press Start, then choose "Buy" or "Build". Select the newspaper or plate and move it instead of waiting for your Sim to put it inside, or throw it away. This does not always work on every plate, and only rarely works with pizza boxes.
Christopher Alford.

Hint: House already filled with objects:
Take a single Sim and move them into 1, 2, or 3 Free Street. Then, fill the house with anything you can afford. Note: It is better to keep at least 100 Simoleans. After that, move another Sim into a different house on Free Street. Have the two Sims get married in the Sim that was moved in second's house. Make another Sim and move them into the house the first Sim used to live in. In that house will be everything that the previous owner had. The house will cost more, but you will have almost everything you wanted without having to buy it yourself.

Hint: Avoiding death:
When in free play mode, study cooking before you try to cook.
kenorory.

Hint: Cheap fire alarm:
If you do not have the time to study Cooking and do not want to buy a Fire Alarm, do the following. When your Sim is hungry and needs to cook, save the game before doing so. If a fire starts, press Start and quit without saving. The fire will not be saved and it will be as if it had never happened. You can also do this with other things such as burglars, getting fired, etc.

Hint: Phone calls:
If you get a phone call saying "Think before you open the door" or "They are coming soon. Be warned", it could mean a robber will arrive soon or nothing at all. If you get a phone call saying " Friendships are like plants", talk to the Sim you are close to 50% liking and raise it to 100% liking. That Sim will be your friend for a longer time. Do this to all of your friends so you will not have to worry about friends in the near future.
**SiMs**GaMeR**.

Hint: Stupid Sim behavior:
Start spinning on the Abdominator and your Sim will begin barking like a dog.
imreboy.

This trick requires an Invention Work Bench and a Teppan Yaki Table (the most expensive appliance). Have your Sim go on the workbench and make a Rocket Gnome. Put the gnome onto the frying part of the table and have your Sim select "Kick" or "Launch". if you select "Kick", your Sim will kick the table. If you select "Launch" your Sim will stick their head into the frying part of the table, and appears to try to kill itself.
Anne Ingram.

Create a Sim that is outgoing and playful, then make another Sim to be that Sim's spouse. Get the Vibromatic Heart Bed and make the shy Sim select "Vibrate" and "Play In Bed". After that, highlight the other Sim and select the Social "Play In Bed." When they are done, the shy Sim will celebrate and you will hear music.
Evingtonirbys.

Hint: Deleting object warning:
You should not delete all the objects such as wallpaper, flooring tiles and paintings. When you get the two promotions you need for your job, you must move to a new house and have to pay back all the money for the things that you deleted.
Felicity Ramsay.

Hint: The Sims reference:
Look closely at the back of Dudley's trailer. You will see a trashed car with a missing wheel. This vehicle is from the original Sims. It was your career vehicle until you got promoted two or three times.
USAking35.

Hint: Splinter Cell reference:
When your making your Sim, if you remain idle about five minutes, a character that resembles Sam from the Splinter Cell will try to enter your house, but ultimately smashes his head in the window.
David Earl.

Hint: Marilyn Manson Sim:
When creating a Sim in Freeplay mode, enter "Manson" as a last name, and "Marilyn" as a first name. Then, select the hair that has the black hat with hair/bangs coming down to the left of the face. Select the formal suit as a shirt and suit pants for pants. If done correctly, your Sim should appear similar to Marilyn Manson. Also, his Sim face icon (that appears when you pick your street), is dark and speckled with purple, green, and dark blue.
Carl Heade.

Glitch: Wear normal clothes when in hot-tub:
In order to do this trick you must have the Pixel Booty song. First, have your Sim in a hot-tub or any object that makes your Sim change its clothes. When they do this, have another Sim play the Pixel Booty song immediately before they do it. Then while they are doing it, cancel playing the song. Your other Sim that was taking a shower, working out, etc. will be fully clothed. Note: The synthesizer must be somewhere near so that the other Sim can hear it.
Jason Watene.

Glitch: Nude Sims:
At Pixel Acres, there will be outdoor showers. Have your Sims take a shower. When they are done (about 95%of the time), they will not put on their clothes and do other things nude.
Kurt Wendler.

Glitch: Stopping the bus to work:
Place your Sim in front of a Gnome Bench (the little workshops used to make gnomes). Make sure that the bench is about in the middle of the room, one square away from the wall. Have your Sim work on a gnome close to the time the bus arrives to pick them up for work. If planned correctly, the Sim will stand there motionless while you hear the sound of them chiseling the block repeatedly. The bus will not leave and just keep beeping. Sometimes when you do this, all the other Sims may move towards him or her for no reason. If you want to use that character again and let him or her go to work, go into buy mode and move the Analog-stick around so you can now select things, move them, and sell them. Move the bench away from her. Resume the game again and he or she should start running or walking to the bus. You can also use this trick if you do not want your Sim to miss the bus. Also, sometimes the glitch does not work. If it does not, next time place two gnomes up against the wall behind him or her.
